Stex Exchange ICO starts on Saturday, I believe it should be a good one, developed by the founders of the KeyCaptcha and also has IOTA's Sergei Popov as an advisor. The exchange is looking to aggregate all coins in one place, say for example you hold NEO and you want to buy DASH, you don't need to first sell to BTC you can convert straight to Dash on the exchange etc. Check their website for more details.

I think if I look back within the last weeks Decred have done everything right. It started just with a press release mid of December and now it’s getting really huge, with a very good media coverage, a big community with a lot of veterans and a very smooth and professional start today. I think buying Decred could make sense, it’s probably one of the strongest Alts 2017 and I’m confident we will get into the top 10 of the coin market cap.
There are many coin with potential. It is not only bitcoin than can be regarded as the only successful cryptocurrency. You can take a look at ethereum, monero, dash even Spectre.ai token. These are coin with great potential especially Spectre.ai

What is the criterion of good investment?
Investing in Altcoin is risky so that's why investing in slowing moving coins isn't a good idea because they have a big chance that they will die and vanish anytime. Altcoins has already proven that they have good reputation for investment because their values are increasing week after week.
I think top Altcoins like Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ripple, LiteCoin Dash and ZCash are worth buying because they're the leading Cryptocurrency and will give you good profit after a year or two.
