Definitely coins with great support, and good daily volume of trade , everything else is gamble, and cannot be considered as an investment with such risk. ETH so far looking most potent, and probably is best opportunity currently.

I agree the ETH is one of the best coin to invest.
I think there are better deals then ETH but that being said if the price collapses I'm jumping in.
I pay attention to poloniex and bittrex,

Why search for coins. You can try bitcoin itself. And if you want to be so badly into alts then you can go on exchanges and click the top traded coins section. Many of them will show some similar coins you can take them as best coins in the market. Check for the volume traded in last 24 hours. This gives you clear cut idea what that coin can do in next day.

ETH is good but make sure not to buy at dip .It is right choice to trade with high volumes because of its high volatility .you can make profit with those ups and downs in the market.

Probably because price factor of bitcoin is so high that many are trading with some altcoin that has good potential of course in market, and now it appears that new coins have a stable supply to have a price that can compete with old coins
Even bitcoin price is high buy it still the most profitable crypto currency. I think if we want to get a lot of profit from investing in altcoin we should choose new altcoin, but we still need to do reaseach before investing.

ANT is worth buying, it has some big releases and news coming up and has only followed ETH so far since the original ICO. Bancor and Monaco are interesting ICOs for this period too, I would recommend a bit of diversification but not into too many coins.
the popularity of cryptocurrency is become better every time. So I think even new altcoin is become strongger. But we still need to do research to find the good altcoin.

Yes, agree-- there is a lot of attention on that one right now. I have a long history in technology advising and NVO's brand is just absolutely sexy and passion filled. I need to keep running the numbers but I love what I'm seeing. When people bring the right talent in to make a brand, it certainly attracts a crowd I believe. Again, still need to run the numbers.
Read whitepaper fully to see the gaps it hopes to fill regarding a fully decentralised exchange.If they acheive this without hype and real result it should be good not only for release but for hold long term with their dividend structure regarding exchange fee distribution among the token holders.

I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.
Straight away ETH. As the market capitalization is second to bitcoin and also have some great potential to grow and stability.
ICN is also a good choice to invest.
I think altcoin is very worth buying ARK and Edg because I think these two coins will grow even better.

I recommend that if you want to buy Altcoin and want to invest, you have to buy Altcoin which is currently on the market for example like Ark, Edg, Gup, I am sure because these three Altcoin looks very good in 2017 and will go up from time to time
