Keep a close eye on Counterparty (XCP), it is so undervalued right now
+1, I agree it is seriously undervalued.
The technology and innovation is right up there but its not being advertised as it should be.
One day when everyone would realize its true potential, XCP would be one of the most sought after currencies.
Decred has a very good potential to be one of the top ten crypto currency. Also, better watch out for IOTA when it enters high volume exchanges.
If we exclude the POS shitcoins of yobit and c-cex then DCR is the only good coin right now and i am fairly positive about it,but the subsidy to the dev's is something i am not impressed by.

DES (Destiny Coin) will be the next big mover. Great volume on Yobit and when it goes to a bigger exchange, as it surely will, the price will rise.
Ethereum is a hot coin at the moment. It has strong development. Monero is very good for privacy. It has great community.

Go to coinmarketcap.com and read into the top 100 there. You can then choose what is of interest to you for speculative/investment purposes.
I would limit to top ten. I like Ether and Monero.

That would be an interesting development, ETH has had a third of bitcoin's daily volume for the past few days.
Gridcoin and Bitshares are my two favourite cryptocurrencies, been following them for years now. I think a lot of Bitcoin's market cap is going to shift to the altcoins in 2016!

Pick the coin with the biggest chance of being pumped. Mainly this is focusing on behavior that is illegal in legit trading markets. Good luck.

Ethereum is prettly popular at the moment. But I am not sure about the other clones. No bitcoin clone will take over bitcoin.
but look at expanse, it mostly follows when the price rises for ETH and maybe the other clones will do the same on a much lower market cap of course.
but that's immaterial if you can make profit
I don´t agree. Price of ETH is stagnating +/- 10% in the last days.
Expanse price is permanantly falling. It is only a fork.
But ETH is providing innovations.
So no fork of ETH will go along with the price of ETH
