I see prices and popularity too, like ethereum, one of the altcoins is good for investment. affordable prices and no doubt about the potential they have. ethereum so far is pretty good, I think this altcoin is good for future investments.
Altcoin now they rule the market. I believe that for them now the most suitable solution is a long-term investment in different coins with different wallets.
I always see the project and then the team of developers then i decided that i have to invest or nope and at the current period many excellent projects are running so i am investing in.

chose in the list of coinmarketcap.com then prefer at the top list or top rank because those crypto are strong and has a good market price volatility. But, if you are not new in this system then probably you can check other crypto as well that likely will let you earn more. 
I think so, altcoins are still a commodity that I rely on to change my future, I am sure that bullrun will come again so invest altcoins will make me get passive income.

on this current situation i only focus on finished projects which is surely i can make profits even though the situation still not fine. For me it's very necessary just to cover my losses and etc .instead on some uncertain projects because i dont want to end up losing money and became stuck on it again like what happened before. So much better to focus on the project that surely 100% there's a return afterwards and not shitcoin. 
I am sure that there are still many altcoins that we deserve to make as long-term investments, but investing in altcoins that already have good reputations such as NEO, Monero, Litecoin and so on are top priorities.
Researching and choosing the right token to invest is a mandatory thing to invest in altcoin, because it will affect every risk we will face, altcoins that have a good reputation will also be good for investment, however all decisions and strategies there is the shareholder himself.

I'll choose coin that has popularity instead I look at the price side. I have experienced when I choose altcoin that has a high price but in the end the price dropped and I lost more than half the initial capital. Usually this happens to the new altcoin, you know when the altcoin price when the ICO is $1 but when the ICO has been skipped and the coin is already been listed on several exchanges but the price slowly decreases. That was the first loss when choosing investment in terms of price. How do you choose altcoin in the current conditions, when you want to invest in cryptocurrency? Do you see the price or popularity? when I invest in altcoin. I often invest in potential ICOs. Learn about that, team behind. If it is famous, experienced, then I decided to invest. It's really hard to know which altcoin will be highly valuable in the future. But the easiest way to know is that you have to really understand it. That will help you a lot 
In my opinion alts are a good choice (i can't say good investment, because it could turn not to be) because they go up much harder than Bitcoin. Bitcoin is more stable and is unlikely to see it spike 10x, 20x. Also for beginners is another thing when you buy 100-200$ worth of cryptocurrency, because in BTC you'll have 0.0xxxx amount and on let's say DASH/ADA/NEO you'll have full coins in your wallet.
It seems to me that altcoins are very convenient to use and quite profitable. It seems to me that they are suitable for both beginners and professionals. Everyone can find a worthy of altcoin.
I generally look for undervalued coin as per their development and possibility of being used in real life. Moreover, I used to invest in top coins listed in CMC in order to reduce the risk level.
Undervalued coins are quite risky, but you will get a large profit possibility. many people prefer to invest in coins that have high popularity, because they are safer, but rarely those who see the technology carried by that coins
Mostly, I review altcoins in the google before any investment. I get all information on the internet about coins, which will give me some insights into the coins in which I am going to invest. Likewise, I sometimes invest in the undervalued coins just in the hopes that they would rise in prices multiple times. Sometimes my police works and other times not. Luck also plays a role.
Altcoins are good for investment until you have chosen the token by your complete math calculation. But, you should invest for the digital coin like the Bitcoin and there is many traded in the market. Among these you can invest in Dogecoin, Litecoin, Dash, Monero, Ripple etc. But, Altcoins make you profitable in short time and you need to enter in the right time at right price.
I think it depends on the luck, or maybe your strategy to earn is always depend on making a decision. If we are lucky with our decision maybe we can earn a lot in crypto. So I think investing is not depend on any other coin it maybe still depend on our luck on doing such profitable action or strategy on the feild.
Depends on your wish,if you know which coin to pick from the thousands of altcoins then altcoin is right for you to invest.But it is not for everyone who want to make money from crypto currencies because the altcoins are highly unpredictable so you are risking more than investing on bitcoin.
