Bitcoin is more reliable and trustworthy than most altcoins. I'm skeptical a bit about alternative cryptocurrencies, no one knows what to expect. There is a risk that new altcoin turns to be a scam.
Don't touch the new Altcoin, it's full of risk, if you want to invest with Altcoin then my advice is to choose potential Altcoins like BNB, ETH, and LTC or Altcoin which is in the top 10-20 at coinmarketcap. I am still optimistic we can profit from long-term investments with Altcoin.They are all too risky, that's why we also need to be vigilant no matter what's their place in CMC, whether are on top altcoins or not, we should be vigilant always on it.
If we can find long term, and we think that we are good for it, then study hard and make sure that we always checking their developments to make sure they are improving things.
If I could sell the coins which I been holding now, I used to do that but I don't see any improvement of the market recently. The latest market updates hasn't gained positive results even if bitcoin started to soar back higher. What I've been waiting to see good value on selected coins. However, it was so frustrating to see while red days still occurs too bloody, upon watching my blockfolio today.

The bullish trend of bitcoin will actually make the altcoin goes to the moon at the same time, so many times this cycle happened in the past and there is no doubt if the bitcoin can reach 10k rate again and altcoin will be going to get the instant pump. I just expect if that will be coming very soon as the bitcoin is still very bullish right now. But i personally will prefer to bet on a potential project rather than a big project because when it comes to the profit comparison and potential altcoin can give you even more, many choices, the price is relatively cheaper than bitcoin and the opportunity to make more profit. many choices but hard to pick the best one that suits for long term investment. Only few altcoins can survive the long term hodling ,out of 1000 altcoins only 3 to 5 coins will survive.
See for yourself and experience if altcoin will provide you a better long term profits. I have thought of this before but luckily I didn't pursue because I've listened to the advice of the tenured and experienced people of the community. Nothing beats bitcoin for a longer operational crypto than any altcoin that we just think is a better long term because we seem to be a fan of it. I'm also a fan of bitcoin but that's the reality about long term profitability.
We have different ideas and perceptions, I respect your opinion but I do not agree to what you said. Even though there are altcoins that are cheap to buy, we cannot stil guarantee the returns that we can get. I still prefer to make investment with bitcoins than altcoins. Only few altcoins that I keep acquiring because I want my portfolio is consisting of potential cryptocurrencies.

i only choose to the top 100 in coinmarketcap, im tired in investing in altcoins below top 200 in cmc, its just a waste of money and also time, investing in top 100 is more profitable for long term, worth it it will give you great profit.

choosing the wrong altcoin will make you lose more and more of your investment capital. You realize that the influence of bitcoin is very strong, imagine if you invest altcoin which is very cheap when bitcoin goes down then what will happen is your assets will drop dramatically. I mean here is altcoin which doesn't have a strong foundation. if you buy and invest altcoin like xrp maybe you will be safe because basically this is good for long term or short term. 
It is possible to get more profit by stacking some alternating coins. However, if the price is reduced then the irony has to be acknowledged.That's the problem. However, stocking does not kill the capital anyway.
And alternative coins that are stacked must also really have good quality and a lot of value, because if you only pile alternative coins that have no price, then obviously a lot of profits will never get us.

Altcoins are usually unpredictable investments and lots of coins are highly volatile, so be careful and always consider investing carefully. Currently, I only trust some coins in top 50 CMC because these are projects that people appreciate very much if they choose to invest. I understood on what basis you've selected all the three altcoins for long term holding. All the three mentioned were exchange backed altcoins, more the progress and adoption of cryptocurrencies more will be the usage of exchanges. I find it better if you'll invest with well-established altcoins like Ethereum, Xrp, Bch, and Ltc. There are still potential altcoins that we could trust so we have to keep the faith. We only have to choose the best ones so we'll never have regrets in the end. I find it too risky if we'll trust newly established altcoins because they still need to build a strong foundation first. If you want an assurance aside from investing with BTC, you better choose trusted coins.
