I think this might happen in next two year. each crypto has its own product and own value. so the higher the product carried out, the higher their prices will be. bitcoin will not involve the estimate appointments of Altc, perhaps it's righteous a story and history to remember. at what time bitcoin became a suggestion for the intensification of Altc, as a result this is the new day the change of the blockchain and Altc is out of peace and precious by BTC prices.

Because alt coins have no value outside of their link to bitcoin.

Look at coins like Ludena Protocol though that have their own internal functional economy and do not rely on the price of bitcoin. these are the types of projects that wil succeed in the next altseason

I would say this for 99% of altcoins, but not all. I mean, some coins are even so unique that Bitcoin has a link to them in the opposite direction,,, for example Litecoin, which is always the testing ground for things that Bitcoin is not ready to do yet!

Same here, we are just in one market so I guess bitcoin will still dominate and any altcoins will just follow.
I am not familiar with Ludena Protocol but I am certain if it's profitable right now, it will not be stable and eventually it will dump, by the way I can't see it in CMC, so probably the project GucciMan14149 has mentioned does not have a good trading volume yet.

in reality it is very difficult the whole altcoin market is often connected to the value of bitcoin, but I hope that sooner or later it will come to an independent market disconnected forever from bitcoin
It will never happen until altcoins can leave from the bitcoin domination. The fact that if bitcoin has already used to determine the real value of altcoin and that means if this is always happening and you can't expect the altcoin will be leaving the domination that has already created by the bitcoin.

Coins like Ludena Protocol will most likely lead alt season.
already has 3 million active users, it will be the most used DAPP in the world when it launches. The demand will be insane

if it's time for Altcoin season then the altcoin market will recover regardless of the direction of Bitcoin, but Bitcoin must be strong and stable at high prices, if not then it is useless, because the altcoin market will end well if the price of Bitcoin does not fall sharply

Altcoin can reach bullish even without the help of bitcoin but the increase is only in the short term due to the influence of the positive trends of the altcoin project. In the 2017 bullish year, all altcoin projects experienced a 2-fold increase in the very development of mainnet. However, now only certain projects are still following the old altcoin history.
True, the influence of the bullish trend is very visible in 2017, and also at that time Bitcoin also experienced a sharp rise, so that Altcoin also survived for a long time at that time, if for now it is clearly very different, because most of Altcoin have started to follow the trend of Bitcoin to be able to go up in price.

It is and will be a lot dependent on Bitcoin. But there are exceptions when there is leadership and community behind the project, which always pushes the project forward.
In the past, this was the case with Ethereum, its price increased even without bitcoin growth. So, it can be any project that will rise massively, but it's mostly just an estimate that it will be.

It could have been a surge against Altcoin, without having to be guided by Bitcoin, it depends on how much Altcoin is supplied and market enthusiasts.

For example Altcoin PAXG at the price when it came out and until now is quite fantastic, the price now can penetrate to $ 1,700, this is because there are many PAXG fans and the total supply is only 25,497 PAXG.
Even in April 2020 it broke through to the price level of $ 3,487.68 USD. This happened when Bitcoin fell.
However, if the price of Bitcoin rises can also have a large influence on Altcoin, there are also those that are not influenced by Bitcoin, it all depends on market demand and the development of Altcoin.

There is no doubt that bitcoin can influence the growth of altcoins but that is not to say that altoims cannot grow without bitcoin. It depend on the use case of the altcoin in question. We have seen coin grow without the influence of bitcoin.
The influence of bitcoin itself to altcoin is very huge but sometimes altcoin can go higher without the effect of bitcoin. If the altcoin enough is good and lots of improvement, I'm sure it will increase its demand. In this matter, its depends on the altcoin we are taking about. But all in all, if we're being specific it can go up but only few of them can. It can grow but not as much what it can grow when the effect of bitcoin happens.
almost all cases of bitcoin affect altcoin growth. although there are altcoins that pump without the influence of bitcoin, of course, they are those who have strong market support so that there is a large demand that makes prices continue to rise.

I believe that the altcoin season may not come in the next few years ... Perhaps it will never come, and only single projects can survive and develop.

Please wait until BTC reaches a new ATH. higher than $ 20K. Probably the end of 2021 or early 2022

does not have to be that way, although i hope that we will witness altcoin season next year
would add just that altcoin season does not mean that all altcoins will go up, some of them are dead, and will probably stay that way, but those that are good will increase in value significantly, it is important to do your own analysis prior to investment

For me, altcoins season means good altcoins will rise, right now, even good altcoins are still not bullish, so probably that will be a good moment to sell.
As of this moment while waiting, we should start investing if we haven't yet, we were given a lot of time to invest so we can enjoy the altcoins season.

actually it could happen any time and this year this still plenty of time, but then again, we have to witness to be bullish to have a chance.

The only thing I can tell you is when Bitcoin reaches new highs above $ 20K, then the all-new season will take place. Why?

1. When new investors entering this market will learn and invest in Bitcoin, the price at this time is about 9K $ so expect to profit at 20K $ or higher.

2. When Bitcoin reaches a new high of more than $ 20K, one will think it is difficult to reach x2 from $ 20K to $ 40K. At this time, people will convert capital from Bitcoin to the top All coin TOP.
Then came all the other coins. And that was the beginning of the All Coin season
I hope you will invest in the right time. And everyone give perspective

Good luck!

After reading few posts on this forum today I became confused because and I decide to let it out to get answers in return, is it possible for altcoins to grow (altcoin season) without Bitcoin? I'm not talking about pumps like if a coin get burned off it's max supply or if listed on binance and other top exchanges, I'm talking about every altcoins surging on their own without Bitcoin taking the first step...
Share your thoughts, I would love to hear you out
Although most altcoins spike along with Bitcoin rise, some altcoins especially mid-cap altcoins are able to grow in price, volume, liquidity etc without Bitcoin. Sometimes the growth is solely due to project development and new investors coming on board after reading and understanding the solution and fundamentals of the altcoin.

The influence is more on the entire altcoins market, but for individual performance, of course an altcoin can rise even if bitcoin is not bullish.
Binance coin for instance made a new ATH last year 2019, that's a statement that an altcoin is not fully dependent on bitcoin, but they are only few of them.
