This may be the case because there are some altcoins that can now grow without the influence of the movement of Bitcoin, although this is difficult to happen but in the crypto world can all happen, currently it is not completely altcoin can Mastering the crypto market but in the future we do not know if there are major changes that will occur.

If I understand correctly, then in the near future will altcoins fall much lower than current prices, because bitcoin can fall in price to 3500? Therefore, it’s better to give a look and see how this whole story ends with the fall

Honestly I wouldn't a lot if altcoins would again fall, it has not recovered yet from its good price, if you compare altcoins from their ATH to the current price, you'll be disappointed and only really few altcoins have recovered from the big fall in 2018, and it looks like we might see another fall when bitcoin fall at that price, but its not new to us especially to people who have invested in 2017 and 2018.
Clearly clear) In the principle two specific altcoins are of interest - ETH and XRP. but I don’t want to buy them now, because in the first case the price may fall to the region of $ 50 and in the second it will go below $ 0.1

After reading few posts on this forum today I became confused because and I decide to let it out to get answers in return, is it possible for altcoins to grow (altcoin season) without Bitcoin? I'm not talking about pumps like if a coin get burned off it's max supply or if listed on binance and other top exchanges, I'm talking about every altcoins surging on their own without Bitcoin taking the first step...

Well, that can be possible for an Altcoin to get into a growth and development even without Bitcoin influence if and only if that certain coin comes from a reputable and have a really good potential project. This means that an Altcoin that came from a really good project that shows positive volume of demand can totally exhibit a positive growth even without depending from the price of Bitcoin and standing on itself all along. It is not impossible for such thing to happen because there are really existing evidence that even Bitcoin price is down, there are still certain Altcoins that are making their way to increase their prices which proves their worth that they can grow even without being reliant from Bitcoin. Well, actually all cryptocurrencies can possible to do that as long as they came from a good project to make people be interested and support that coin which makes a way for the demand volume to rise up that makes the price rise that can lead an Altcoin into a price surge.

I also like to dream and dream while lying on the couch. But there is what it is. And there is a simple law --- the price of altcoins depends on the price of bitcoin. Bitcoin price up - the price of altcoins down. Bitcoin price down - the price of Altcoins down. The price of a beacon flat * (on the spot) the price of alecoins is up.
Bitcoin and altcoins have very complicated correlations but unfortunately most of time, they don't move in the same directions. It is especially for upwards movements of bitcoin, that usually force altcoins falling. From altcoin bottoms, when bitcoin rises, altcoins will increase together with bitcoin.

Altcoins are much more volatile than bitcoin and highly affected by bitcoin so if you want to invest in altcoins, you should use a very small part of your capital, and have to think of it seriously.

There is not much hope in this market but it is very likely that the bear market will return. Currently the world situation is happening very complicated and the disease is making everyone more confused.

I think to be careful and keep the fiat if necessary because a lot of investors trend panic sell more and will definitely make the whole economy collapse.

I'm beginning to doubt we will ever witness the altseason we witnessed years ago. Bitcoin is currently dominating the rest of crypto by a mindbogglingly range and it's almost impossible for that to reverse anytime soon.
Whenever you think something like that you must immediately realize the chances of what you thought to be impossible are higher than what you think, there was a point in which the market cap of ETH was very close to bitcoin and they were apart only a few billion, at that time it was almost unimaginable for many that bitcoin could retain its position and many claimed BTC and EH will exchange positions but then just when the confidence in ETH was at its highest bitcoin made a comeback, make no mistake altcoins will at some point rise faster than bitcoin but you need to wait patiently for it.

I think not can, because so far altcoin grow after bitcoin grow so altcoin couldn't grow without btc maybe because bitcoin is main cryptocurrency making all altcoins grow to follow bitcoin
Most of this market is based on the price of Bitcoin, so altcoins are often unable to decide for themselves the next trend of this market. I think Bitcoin is getting more and more popular lately and surely one day this coin will play a very important role in the world economy. However, for that to happen, Bitcoin and Altcoin must rise together this year as this is the basis for a market to grow well.

It's possible. If a coin lists on Binance or top exchanges, surely its price will increase most of the time without the pump of Bitcoin. If a coin get burned its % of supply, it will impact positively on price. So this issues impact on price of a altcoin.
not everything is like that. it all depends on how developers create events to increase demand before release in large exchanges. because some coins have been registered in large exchanges and have not increased even after a while they are also removed from the exchange list.

Yeah that's right. However there is no alt at this point who could "resist" btc's influence. So even if the alt has its own movement on chart it doesn't mean it will not follow the bitcoin, so yeah stay aware of that.

This is true, things have really changed, years ago, before you see the movement of altcoin, that means bitcoin has done some moves either positively or negatively but these days if you observe you will find a coin or token moving up without any movement from bitcoin, though sometimes I think it's the fundamental analysis that pushes it up.

Bitcoin is still the leading coin which is why it is seen as such an influential currency. When bitcoin does something it affects every coin around it since it is such a huge one. We are not talking about just a coin that has a bigger market value than other coins, we are talking about a coin that worths more than ALL OTHER COINS COMBINED and that is something we can't really ignore.

Dollar is seen valuable for example, but you can't just combine all other fiats and still be under the value of all dollars. That is exactly why we care about what bitcoin will do to see what altcoins will do, not that it has to be correlated at all times but I can tell you that it will be somehow related if bitcoin makes a big move up or down, no idea how altcoins will react but they certainly will.

Without bitcoin to increase I don't think the altcoins can increase or the altcoin season will happen. Bitcoin should take the first step so that the altcoins will follow. I guess most of the altcoin investors are relying the bitcoin movement you know.

Altcoin season come as soon as Bitcoin bull run starts, experst from the crypto investment industry predicts Bitcoin's price around 100 000USD per one BTC in next bull run, if it is possible altcoins could show much bigger profits due to hype what we saw in the past.
that's a very high number compared to current prices. can you provide expert data from which gives such predictions? not that I don't believe it, but it looks very far away and anyone who has been in the crypto market for a long time I think would think the same as me.

There are coins that are found in DEX which are growing at some point without being paired to BTC. Tokens listed on DEX are often just paired to the platform coins like ETH, EOS and TRX. Their value grew because the platform's token also are growing. But generally, its always BTC that matters. Its probably good to invest to such coin that spikes even not paired to BTC, its like a stand alone coin.
