I agree that you choose NEO and OMG I really have hopes for that coins but I think it is good to hold some BitcoinCash, Litecoin, Monero and Dashcoin it is the coin I will recommend you that is good for some long term holding. But if you really need some strong and better coins to hold I think Bitcoin and Ethereum is the best thing to hold for because they really are the two most potential coins to increase value in the future of crypto.

NEO ETH WAVES worth holding
Hey guys, I wanna hold some alts for 2-3 years. Can you advise me some? I am thinking about Bitquance, XVG, OMG, NEO....anything else?
I'm not sure if it will be a good idea because you are talking about altcoins which is known for its best at short term investment. But still, if an altcoin that you are abiut to invest is potent, that would be good jist like PBT and Etherium. PBT already has a larger market value than Bitcoin which is considered as the no.1 crypto for its value. And ETH as well is continuously growing since it is oftenly used in ICOs. You may also do some researches to make sure that you'll earn profit on alts that you think are good for long term holding.
If you ask me, those that are worth holding and might have some future: Waves, OmiseGO, Ark, Neo, IOTA, and I would dare to say BMC also!

XVG and NEO is good for a long term investment. Try to invest on Aventus. After a year it might go boom from 2.98 usd to 50 usd. You can take profit a lot. But all coins are all good for long term hodling. 
All the coin you can hold 2 years or more, It is important to sell the deal at the right time. yes but coin i have kept for 3 years but the value does not increase.
I'm holding my OAX tokens and probably will be holding them for at least a year or more. There will be a pump for sure after the release of their exchange.
I have no background with Bitquance but with 3 other XVG options, OMG and NEO they are nice to hold.good luck

Since you already have streamlined action point to pursue, what I will say is all the best but I will tilt towards waves because its one platform that has come to stay and could last for your proposed number of years to hold. But you need to put in mind you need to be sure your kind out of the current happenings because that could make on take some funny decisions. Also don't be moved by the hype because in about six months, the same coin might be delisted due to lack of activities.
I think Ripple will keep growing as more and more banks sign on. So Ripple, IOTA, ETH, Walton are good to hodl.

You must remain patient in doing this task because to be a successful person also needs a very mature process and strategy first to get big profits later.

XRP would be ideal for a 2-3 year hold. Once everything is in place, I think Ripple is likely to blow every other crypto away in market cap. The only real question for me is when. A couple of years seems reasonable.
