I will choose Ethereum and Litecoin for holding for next couple of years as I have a feeling that it will give me best profits on my investments.

My money is on:
ETC  - i think that by the end of netxt year it will go over 50 USD
NEO - it has a big potential of going to the moon
ETP  - it is a very promising project.
And in the recent events i decided to invest in some electroneum. If the developers play the cards right they have the potential to go huge.

Hey guys, I wanna hold some alts for 2-3 years. Can you advise me some? I am thinking about Bitquance, XVG, OMG, NEO....anything else?
I think you should add ethereum to your list as it is the most popular altcoin without any doubt. Most upcoming projects are based upon ethereum platform. Monero is another coin you can add to your list as I believe that monero is way more valuable than its current price.
SIACOIN, golem and WAVES are good projects and I believe that they are undervalued as compared to their application and uses. These projects can show healthy amount of growths in future without any doubt.

My 2-3 years portfolio contains : Ark, Neo, Eth, LTC, Waves and of course BTC.
My other 2-3 years portfolio with less confidence contains : SiaCoin (nobody is talking about this one, did I miss something ?), XRP, XLM and ...EOS...

The second portfolio is completely red right now. Did not buy at the best moment.

If you have best coins like ETH, ETC, XMR, XRP then nothing wrong in holding them for long term as it will surely give you profits in future and you won't regret on your decision for sure.

Most probably waves will be grow more.
And I suggest some alt coin. Like as, Waves, LTC, Strat.
I also think it will be better for holding 2-3 or more years.
All the best.

In the market, a 2-3 year crypto currency is a very long time. With such volatility, it is very difficult to predict the growth of coins, But in any case, when choosing a coin should be guided by its manufacturability. More reliable coins for longevity platform projects. Such as Neo, Waves, OMG. Despite a lot of negative about the ether, it will definitely develop and grow in price

Top coins are good for long term. I think you should include the idea that you may need to sell earlier in you plan too and watch the market often anyway, as history of crypto is not very long yet and anything may happen, which is not guaranteed to reach you fast unless you watch it.

Wow this is my favıurite subject with crypto markets. It is very fun trying to find that magical coin.
I can only say Waves and Ark are pretty much safe bets here. These coins will at least double up in years according to their bizness. I don't know any other.

ICO's can be a little tricky these days. The key is separating out real projects (LINK) from some of the others. However, holding BTC, ETH, and a few of the other big players that are active is going to bode well.

Why not just hold all the known coins like ethereum, litecoin, monero and obviously bitcoin to for that much long period of time. For me, I find it very risky to put my money into coins which are new and looking at the current rate of new ICO coming everyday I believe it's even dangerous to have any coin trusted in the first place. One can be replaced by another ten in no time. So better choose your portfolio in a way such that theses coins have been in the crypto world since long and they are actually making the way through the time. Otherswie you can see by all yourself how he coins are generated daily, not healthy for the crypto currency economy.

They are worth very well holding them for so long. Many people are selling it very quickly while if you have waited the coin was maybe pumped up so you could have more money.

I have converted them to bitcoin because it will take so long. I have now made profit because of the altcoins converting to bitcoins.

You can look at some projects like Rivetz, Change-Bank, BitJob which are projects that I appreciate to hold.

Rivetz seems well, I am not sure about Bitjob though

Some altcoins are worth holding 3 years i know a friend he was holding a coin for 2 or 3 years. He made a massive amount of money out of it. So it is worth to hold and not to sell them quickly.

I am now also holding altcoins, but i did convert them to Bitcoin. I am now beginning to collect more altcoins.
