Crypto is such a dynamic and new space that it's impossible to say with any certainty what the best tokens will be in 2 - 3 years.
In all likelihood the next Ethereum hasn't even been launched yet.

I rarely invest long term since we can not be sure of anything in this market. I think it's worth investing in but the potential altcoin is listed on the top 10 coinmarketcap and you will definitely be profitable for 6 months, which is really easy if we do not sell when the price is low.
For holding an alt-coins for a long term is a good decision to make and it can make your investment grow bigger for such time, you should collect more alt-coins from bounties and ICOs.
Yeah bounty seems to be a really good way to earn several hundreds!

I heard from my friend that he was holding for a few years a coin, so when the prices went up he instant sold them and made profit. You can do that, but you can also invest in BTC and ETH.
