I never hold new altcoins that much. But for major altcoins it will be fine.
New altcoins are too risky to hold for 3 years. Most of them are too valotile and you will lose your capital in very short time.
Check all new coin charts and you will see what i am talking about

Some of what you have suggested Op are potentially good alternate coins, and its undeniable that they have a bright future ahead, well as for me i would like to suggest for you to buy Ethereum, but it depends if you like it though. Aside from bitcoin, ethereum also has a good future ahead and can also be potentially goog investment for a long term.

I think a lot of good coins on the market can be a long-term investment, usually coins that can be a long-term investment is a coin that has a good popularity, and the coin has survived long enough in the crypto market such as litecoin, dashcoin, etherum, and also bitcoin. Grin

Dash, Waves and Sys but I would suggest that whoever will hold any kind of token or Alt to better check the status or any update about the coin rather than, buy now, forget about it, see you in 2-3 years, as you see rules are changing in an instant and it might be a good token/alt today, but not after a few months and it will be delisted. Just look at DAR and BTS in Bittrex, they are doing pretty good a few weeks ago and now they are scheduled to be deleted by Oct 13.

I would prefer decred stratis and dash. Because I know that their developer works too much to upgrade to be available for new technologic requirements and they implement which system required. No fear just keeping work hard. I believe theese project

Hey guys, I wanna hold some alts for 2-3 years. Can you advise me some? I am thinking about Bitquance, XVG, OMG, NEO....anything else?
In my opinion, I think that there are a few altcoins which have huge potential and might be big in the near future, only if you decide to hold them for mid-long term. Altcoins such as Monero, litecoin, dash, ether, neo, komodo are worth holding for long term, this might result in better outcomes and benefits.

Look for tokens with 1. First mover advantage 2. Solve a real world problem 3. Great team behind it

With those criteria, I recommend:

OmiseGo (OMG)
Salt Lending (SALT)
Populous (PPT)
TenX (PAY)
AdEx (ADX)

I would go with LSK and XMR.

Lisk is essentially Ethereum, except in javascript. I think that this is going to make things a lot simpler for smart contracts to be written. Monero has an active community and dev team which is really encouraging. Plus, the price of monero has not been pumped like crazy like the other big coins like DASH, ETH, etc. and is a much better buy than the other top 10 coins right now.

For sure, OMG and XVG for 2-3 years hodling will give you much gains. The team behind these two teams are pretty solid and are moving their projects up constantly. Try to consider Waves for long term hodling as well. And then DGB and NEM.

why do not you choose co eth it is a good coin current its price will not fluctuate much it will make your capital become more secure and at the same time development team of co eth is pretty good it If you are a microsoft supporter for all the information I know, then I think it's a good coin to keep it for 2-3 years. Coin anchor coin is quite dependent on the Chinese market so you should think before leaving the capital to hold long coin this coin.

too many options since most altcoins are good for long term investment. but to name a few, i guess eth and litecoin is good for long term investment. though both are not really doing good in the market right now but i do believe it will soon pump. Eth has been around for a while now and at some point, it has proven to be worthy of an investment. Monero is also a nice coin to keep for 2-3 years and so as ripple.
I think the right coin in long term hold is waves and ethereum,
seeing both have a good project

I think if you want to hold an alt try ETH. I think it definitely increases in 3years.
but you can also try to consider wave, I often read it on some of the topics here and it really looks promising.

In This Online Digital Market have a many coin this is a name of altcoins. If anyone hold coin for 2-3 year he will be a milliner after 2-3 years latter but all coin you check before holding for a long time because all coin will be a not success in this market some coin is success so we should check coin details then decide to hold

I suggest you read every white paper of every coin you have your eyes on. And do a little bit of reaearch about the developing team of every coin you may like. So you have a really great insight of wht these coins are and their potential. It is better to know for yourself than to know because of others. No one can give you the most honest answers than yourself alone.

NEM would be a great coin to invest in also, I really think this coin has great potential in the future because the developers are constantly working hard and I think I saw them conducting a meeting or conference around the world. Maybe they are trying to instill knowledge to the people especially the investors what NEM is capable of. I really have a good feeling about this coin.
