Try to Hold Ethereum. i can assure to you that
it will be stable at next year.
and you can earn some profit from it.
and try to spare some coin in BTC.
don't just rely to the ALtcoins.
you need to trust BTC too because

For me beside bitcoin, i think is good coin for holding 2 - 3 years is etherum, dashcoin, waves, Litecoin because they are have potential coin and have a good price although now the price is little bit down 
With me , eth , bch , deeponion, is best altcoins for 2-3 years holding , this is newest altcoins just begin and rising up .
A altcoin need a huge community use it and i see altcoins above have a lots of people using and support project, i believe projects will success and keep holding they long term.

LTC will have plenty support during this particular situation with China and the ICOs. Bitcoin and Altcoins will go up really high really fast. 
For holding them for 2-3 years, bitcoin and Ethereum would be two best coins for you. Tokens are riskier if you are not able to predict their future in time.

For me personally, i think that neo has a bigger future than eth but i can be wrong. Right now, there is a lot of uncertain about neo as it used to be called the china version of eth but now without the support of china, will it still grow as projected? However, the foundations for neo is still very strong like it allows a lot of computer programming languages to be used for smart contract. It also aims to expand into a ecosystem instead of just focus on neo platform. And the best part i love about neo is that the neogas that does not need you to stake at all. Just by hodling neo in the wallet, you can generate gas even during offline.
If we are also take into consideration of tokens then I feel that ebtc will be a hit.

I have two altcoins which I intend to hold for that period of time.
They are ethereum and deeponion.
I see great potential on these two coins, I know they will truly be worth something in the years to come.
Especially with DeepOnion because even though it is still on its early development stage, the amount of support it gets from the community is truly astounding.
Added to that is the work being given by the devs in developing the coin.

Well, the strategy is good to keep the coins long, but why the choice fell on those coins?
NEO - China power! Better than ETH, still very cheap...
OMG - great team behind the project, PROJECT itself is great
XVG - anonymity is the thing in this world
I still believe in the ethereum to date, I am confident in the coming years to 2-3 altcoin who became the ethereum is holding high-value above any other altcoin, then the disussul waves, and tezos. because to my knowledge the ethereum has the potential opportunities of great success in the future
I'm also long term holder. At least that s my intention. Waves is my favorite so far.

No coin to hold 2 to 3 year ( including BTC) ! Only hold anythink you need and sell itvin the best time!
Waves, Ethereum or ptoy are good coins for a long ride. Another coin is Zcash, but I think it will just need some more time.

Your picks are good, especially Neo and Omisego. But why would you want to hold a coin for 2-3 years? Isn't that too distant a time? Well, you can add Walton, regalcoin and Binance coin. These are great coins with potentials. The last two are also exchanges. History has it that any coin owned by an exchange would do very well. Waves is also a good coin.

Waves, Civic, Golem, Gamecredits, MobileGo, Tezos. All will be solid long term plays
Waltonchain, Loopring, Omisego, NEO, ICON are just a few I could name, all Asia based and seeing as Asia is the biggest bitcoin market never a bad investment.

I believe that Wavescoin and Arkcoin are two coins with great future in the next 2 - 3 years. The price is very good for purchase.
