I don't think so. In this case, there are 2 options, first, coins with low trading volume are old coins, so there are many who are not interested in trading again. And these are many factors. I'm sure you already know what these factors are. the second option is a new coin. Due to the current market situation is still unpredictable, so, it's natural if they still have low trading volumes.

Is it very bad if a coin has a low daily trading volume?  The known coins have at least 6 figures or more traded daily at the very minimum.  And of course btc and the top 10 coins are traded in the millions and even billions daily.

if your seeking a good coin wherein you can obtain quick profits then it's bad idea to buy especially if it has a low trading volume .  But however if you see a potential on it which to increase in the future such eth and other alternative coin that already made a previous record and turn to cheap only because of this scenario  then it's a good idea but it should be long term.

It is bad since it means that your asset is not liquid. Why is this bad?
- high spread, i.e., the gap between bid and ask.
- low depth, buy and sell activity will wildly move the price.

Most of the time, you will buy at unfair prices, and sell at unfair prices.

Yes it is possible like users, traders and investors always look in volume so if low i think no will buy that or few only will buy that

Then because of that it will turn shitcoin still i think it will grow like the trading will go high if the developer do promote and develop their alts another thing better to look in the potential of the alts here not in trading volume

Actually it is irrelevant.
Bitcoin own trading volume used to be extremely low, and if you had used that for a basis to ignore it ,
you would have missed out on rises from $1 to a max of $20000.

Trading Volume will not determine a coin's future, even thru Bitcoin has a very high trading volume,
there are no guarantees it's price will continue to rise , as those learned from the $20000 max to the current ~$4000.

True global adoption is all that matters and no crypto has yet achieved that.  Wink

This is true i had seen some very low trading volume or low market cap altcoin or token but if you read in with their whitepaper or  see their project development you can see that it might got future. As of now we are in a bear market and almost some coin had a very trading volume but does not mean it's dead. You just need to research first before putting money in a low volume trading because it's hard to sell it when no one wants to buy.

I think i've done a mistakes long ago by purchasing coins with low trading volume, it  is really hard to get the price to rise, and it also even hard to just selling the coins cause there are small people that trade the coins. That is what i learn about low trading volume coins.

Of course it will be very bad, because it proves no one invests or buys that altcoin. So be careful when investing in those altcoin because it can die at any time

How much daily trading volume would you say is very low?  Would like $10000 daily be considered low or extremely low?  I assume coins that have say 3 figures or less are basically extremely low.

If that happens everyday for a few days in a for that's bad because it means people are not interested in trading that coins. If that happens only for a few hours or maybe one day, maximum 2 it could be because some news appeared and people are waiting for confirmation before trading but a good coin will always have at least a medium volume during the day.

If some coin or token has a low trading volume, then it is easier to raise or lower its value to large players and this is really not good.

Low trading volume means low liquidity and low liquidity mean no interest to buy-sell specific asset. For day trading better keep using liquid coins for hedging in case of sudden spike on prices.

Well, that is not always the case, does not matter how good a coin is. People are stick to the bitcoin because it has been adopted massively so it has more liquidity. Some new good coins have many good features, but they don't get many adoptions so it's pretty risky to put much money when coins has little liquidity, no matter how good are the features and network.

Yeah, if the coin has a low trading volume, it can be said that the coin is very bad for you to buy. I think, I also will not be interested in buying and trading coins that have low trading volume. Yeah,  that won't benefit me.
And I'm sure many people aren't interested in coins that have low trading volume, therefore, the coin was said to be very bad. Many people will prefer coins with large trading volumes.

Volume means, token is needed by anyone. The volume means the purchaser. Think about it, how can volume be without demand or buyer?
There is some tactics like lowering the volume, but it does not make any sense to me.

Of course it can result in a coin or token being removed from the list of an Exchanger. There have been many and often things like that happen. and the worst effect, there was a massive dump for the coin.

I think that this is the worst scenario when tokens/coins have low volume (under 10.000 USD real volume). because price could be dumped but the interest of people, with it hard.
Harder to gain the interest. most of crypto die like this.

Technically its a bad sign that coins drop to the lowest trading volume but let us also consider the market situations that contribute to its lows. The only way to revive the coin is through effective marketing, as long as the project keeps on going and published their achievements it might attract investors and revive the coin again.

I think not because it's necessary to consider other factors to determine what is bad for a crypto.
Sometimes the project is new and you are starting your walk, it's not easy and simple to attract people.
It's also necessary to think about the possibility the market is down, in which we are for example.
If the project is good and has great utility whether for a community or few people, low volume is a mere detail.
It's not because it's low volume that this situation can not be reversed.
