I think it is quite clever how event platforms turn users into engagers. There are more and more event platforms popping up, but I think TuurnT is able to stand out from the (party) crowd. The reward structure is not entirely clear to me, I am also interested in how the roll out on a large scale will be, but I will definitely be following TuurnT. Good luck guys!

I watched the Tuurnt video and am excited about this project. The web is already being seen as "old" and outdated (and in a jaded view "fake") so competitors like evite are going to be left behind. Some of the things I like about Tuurnt are the ability to find events in the nearby area spontaneously and the host reviews aspect. I have some curiosity how Tuurnt will deal with ratings gaming and then there's the question of how does someone who is a new host compete in a field of 5 star established hosted events? I'm a bit old so appreciate back in my clubbing days that part of a night out of fun was the adventure and risk associated with finding a good club so I think I miss that on behalf of younger people these days that that bit of mystery is removed from the experience. I hope Tuurnt's ratings ask specific questions about why people do or do not like a place. Some of my favorite clubs had concrete floors and were dives but had awesome bands and decent drinks and there should be a way to merge the various nuances of what makes a good vibe. Looking forward to watching and following this project and supporting it.

You can read in section "About" that thanks to Tuurnt you can make money by "throwing a party" - this means create party and list it in their app. When it will be light, fast, and easy app you can be sure that everyone will forget about "facebook events". It's attractive - no doubt, especially for young people, who were born with phone in hand.

Pretty interesting idea. Seems quite uncovered so far, at least I haven't seen or heard about a similiar project. Also quite straight forward airdorp approach - not too easy but also not too hard. All in all I like it and will definitely keep an eye on it. Keep up the good work, guys! Good Luck.
