We've had a few questions about this and right now we have no plans to add merged mining to Benjamins. We feel the network will survive on its own with the new projects we have coming up

I think you should create a merge-mined sister coin called Pentiums.  Sorry just had to post that again Cool

I have 2 questions in mind:

1. First, where can we buy BENs?

2. If we mine BEN through Cloud server like digital ocean-where can i find some instructions how to?

You can buy them super cheap right now at Cryptsy.

Cloud servers like digital ocean are generally for mining CPU coins, not SHA-256.  SHA-256 coins pretty much require an ASIC device for mining.

You *can* mine them with a cloud server, but you will get very, very, very few BEN's with it - like maybe 1 BEN per month.  Actually I'm not even sure it's possible anymore, pretty sure all the current mining programs (bgfminer, cgminer) have removed CPU support.

Thanks mate.Just considering and open for option. Is this hard to mine BEN now?

Yeah, rewards are pretty low right now because BEN is kindof stuck in a rut diff-wise until the diff retargets in about two days (maybe longer).  Right now a 200GH ASIC will only get you around 500 BEN per day.  Once the diff re-adjusts it should be about 4x that.

Just so you guys know, our goal is to get the Paysha Beta up this weekend. We will be testing it with Benjamin paper wallets first

There will be values of 10,000, 1000, and 100 BENs pre-loaded. We are still debating whether we will ship these on physical paper form, or include them on a Paysha flash drive with sticker seal and amount printed on the outside of the drive itself so the amount pre loaded is known without inserting it into the drive. You will also be able to verify funds via the block explorer and the Public key printed on the sticker seal

Any opinions would be appreciated. We will most likely open sign ups to merchants next weekend. This weekend we hope to have the backend ready enough to put up a demo shop with the BEN cold storage units

I think I want both.

I'm waiting on a few quotes right now on the USB drives. There's a lot of really cool options if we go that route. It's a little more expensive, but we can knock off a few dollars by using really small drives, storage-wise. That's what I'm waiting for numbers on

With 30 GH/s, how much can one expect to mine per day in Ben?
And what should I expect to lose in costs due to electrical bill? I live in BC, Canada so
I think our electrical bills tend to be pretty cheap here for power.

Also, any opinions on this website? https://sminers.com/?page_id=16
I'm considering cloud hashing. Anyone got any recommendations. At $2 per GH I could just drop $180 bucks and have 90 Gigahashes for mining at the moment. Thoughts? If anyone can recommend cheaper gigahashes for $ than $2 per GH on a reputable cloud hashing service that would be great.

You can look at pretty much any of the pools in the OP and find out what you'll make per day with 30GH - just find somone in the list with roughly your hashrate and look at the BEN/day:  http://ben.pitythepool.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool

Unfortunately it's not much right now, BEN is kindof stuck in a rut for about the next 48 hours until the diff adjusts again.

As for cloud/leased mining . . . it's pretty risky.  The price is extremely high versus what you would normally make mining - it has to be, otherwise the hosting company wouldn't make money Smiley

It can be good for speculating, though.  You can throw some extra hashpower towards a newly released coin while the diff is low and it really counts, and if the coin rises significantly in value later you can make some decent money.  Unfortunately the time to do this with BEN has already passed in my opinion.  I have no doubt BEN will rise some more in price but probably not significantly enough to offset a cloud mining investment.

He is not selling its bugged. The trade still gets reset and no coins are really traded. Probably someone abusing craptsy glitch. Probably someone trolling buyers. FUUUUUU

Even the higher trades are not appearing in trade history. Someone has hacked whole blockchain or bigvern has again an "excellent" trade system.

Seriously though why did someone dump 30k at 4000 each Huh 0_o i mean honestly...... have you people no clue?

Anyway like i said before now we goto wait for all the coin fucken coin jumpers to move on for they only mine the most profitable coin then dump it with no concept of the coin itself..... As you can see now there is NO buy support at all really, and fuck loads of rather high (compared to the buy support) sell orders...

Thanks coinwarz, the worst thing to ever happen to crypto currencys.
It will adjust when its no longer profitable for all the greedy coin hoping assholes to mine.
