bitbean price will go to 1 satoshi..... i'm sure of it
Can't wait, when that happens I will be buying it all up. I don't think so though.

Let's do some maths

block time: 1 minute
block reward: 1000 per block
then
24*60*1000=1440000 Bitbeans/ Day
1440000*365= 525600000 Bitbeans/ Year

at 1 satoshi we only need  5.256 btcs for all  all the  coins issued in a year, it si quite low, i think  would be nice some way for increase bitbeans demand like somedice investing site

OMG IT HAS COIN CONTROL WTF!!! I can not believe this why has the dev not said anything while we have been asking for the feature for soooo long ? He should have said the wallet already has the feature in it and this is how you do it.  Wow unbelievable.

You turn coin control on through Settings, Options, Display, Display bean control features (experts only!)

Let me check that out lol I can't believe it why hasn't the dev told us if it already has the feature?

Hi Beaners,

The coin control feature for the Bean is the same manual option that most other coins use. This needs to be selected in the
options on the wallet then you will be able to access the blocking of your Beans in your wallet. The larger the block sizes
you have, the longer you will have to wait to get a stake in my experience. I personally keep reblocking the Beans that are
below 2k into a single block of 8k up to 24k through coin control.

- copy your wallet address by going the 'Receive Beans'
- select your wallet address and press copy
- Go into 'Send Beans'
- select 'custom change address'
- paste your address into the field provided
- paste it again into the 'Pay To' field
- press the 'Input' button'
- select your smallest blocks to double the amount of your required block size, press 'OK'
- put you desired block size into the 'Amount' field' and 'Send'

In 'Transactions' it should show a 'send to yourself', once accepted you should see two new blocks through 'coin control'. Repeat
until all your low blocks have been resized. Don't forget to unlock for staking when you have finished.

Hope this helps.

So you are saying you have a Bitbean wallet that has coin control on it Huh Because mine sure does not.

I think it is a good coin, stable with a good small community. Low electric costs for generating coins, all fine Smiley

"Bean Cash..More Than Digital Cash!"
first page is so out of date that it looks like this coin has been abandoned not a good sign for any coin!

I have just reviewed the first page and made some updates. Please share what you believe should be updated.

"Bean Cash..More Than Digital Cash!"
hello everyone

too much reading about bitb coin

what I understand is coin POS will be mature after 6 hours reward is 1000
POW is sha256

what i want to ask

1 - for POS what the minimum coin must be in one block or in one wallet to be staking good ?
2 - when get reward ? and how to calculate reward i didnt understand
3 - is there POW pool for mining sha256 ?

Hi, welcome to Team Bean.

Yes, PoS (we call it "Proof of Sprout" aka "Proof of Stake"). Beans will be available to compete with other sprouting beans on the network after they mature. It takes approximately 6hrs. to mature. When a BitBean sprouts, the Beans in that sprouting block are split in two and 500 new BitBeans added to each of the two new blocks. There are simply too many variables to calculate when you will have a sprouting block of Beans. You could check here for an idea of what to expect:  https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bitb/#!extraction

PoW ("Proof of Work" ended at block 10,000. There are no more PoW blocks to mine for BitBean. BitBean is a pure PoS "Proof of Sprout" crypto now. PoTS "Proof of Transaction Sprouts" will be added in v2.0 This will allow smaller wallets to have a more active role in maintaining the network and be awarded new sprouted BitBeans!

I do think the coin control feature is probably the most important development.  With that added we will know very easily how big our transactions are, if we need to combine or split transactions and how many transactions staking we have, right now the only indication is the stake weight which is crude at best as an indication of how often you will stake.  Definitely hope to see that come out soon.
