Yes, I hold no BTC at the moment. I just opened a support ticket at Kraken to see how they will handle the BCH fork.

Regarding BTC fork, yeah, it could go down burning real fast. I don't dare holding any BTC around the segwit2x fork time. I'll be either in BCH in Kraken or just fiat.
For now, it is very worrying to hold a large number of BTC. I am worried if a segwit2x fork will fail and swallow the bitcoin we have. Maybe BCH could be better to trade safely

Which is the best exchange to store BTC on during the fork?

I've been hodling for so long I don't use exchanges now, but want to get access to both forks asap after the fork.

Hello bitcoin, my old friend
I've come to mine you once again
Because a vision swiftly growing
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains

Bitcoin cash hard forking, is that true?. It was originally from bitcoin bifurcation, although not quite understand the principle, but how can I bifurcation?

This hard fork is to do a change to the retarget algorithm. It is not a contentious hard fork. It is meant as a software upgrade and not to split off into two coins. If you are using a wallet, you must update your wallet. The old wallets won't recognize the new difficulty algorithm, so won't accept the new blocks as valid. Wallets that do not upgrade are likely to find themselves on a worthless chain. It probably will be a frozen chain, too, since I expect all of the pools and major miners will have updated their software.

When bitcoin had fork, the birth of bitcoin cash came. And now bitcoin cash will had fork so what's next? When I have BTC I also gain BCH Smiley And now BCH then what's next? So interesting like the ethereum and ethereum gold.

Based on a confidential research Ethereum Gold (ETG) is expected to increase by 200% from it's current value this November 2017. And may unbelievably explode to an all time high increase of 2,500% by December 2017

Details are not disclosed.

Anyway we can monitor it here:

Are you sure? Cheesy
It will be weird, but now everything  is possible.

For me onchain-scalling is impossible.
At least  in decentralised  way.
I think decentralised  coin should give availability for every willing users to run a full node.
And if you would have reach mainstream  adoption every  node willl have hundrets of terabytes - impossible to keep for ordinary user

What do we need to know about the bitcoincash hardfork on the 13th?

Looks like it will be a new difficulty adjustment algorithm. This article is from the beginning of October, but I believe we will be seeing this:

Additionally, in the mailing list email Séchet proposes a solution which has been submitted for review, so that the rest of the Bitcoin ABC developers can discuss the idea. The algorithm is designed to “adjust the difficulty to hashrate to target a mean block interval of 600 seconds” – according to an individual called “Mengerian” who reviewed the idea with Séchet. Mengerian says other design features include avoiding drastic changes during times when the hashrate is flat, and adjusting difficulty when the hashrate changes fast. Séchet says he simulated the following scenarios with constant hashrate and swings between block intervals.

Ok so the legacy bitcoin is soon to be known as segwit1x coin?  If yes what do we call those legacy bitcoins still in the legacy wallets??  For example in trezor they offer a legacy bitcoin wallet.  Trezor also offers a newer bitcoin wallet which I guess is segwit1 compliant.  So if I keep my legacy coin from going into the segwit1x wallet where does that leave my legacy bitcoins?  Will they be without chain?  Will they suffer the same fate as sw1x coin?  If they suffer same as sw1x coins then it will be important to make this clear to people IMO.  Thanks!!

What is Mastercoin/Omni?
Omni uses the Bitcoin’s blockchain to store records and data and allows users to create their own digital tokens and by that creating smart properties. It is intended to be a base upon which anyone can build their own currency. The Mastercoin/Omni project officially launched on July 31, 2013, with a month-long fundraiser in which anyone could buy Mastercoins.

It is a 3rd party product, you should contact them directly about their software

Contact them on their reddit  /Facebook / or Twitter and ask them any additional questions.

However:

*Omni Layer is not being used with Bitcoin Cash*
*Omni Layer is set to follow segshit 1X and ignore 2x. *
So when 1x dies , so will omni layer.
