So,someone help me understand this POS thing. 1%/year means that if I have 100 coins in my wallet today,after a year there will be 101 coins,right?
pretty much, but you have to leave them in the wallet.
So,the ideal thing to do is stack these coins to the sky and leave them there without touching them for a year? Also,is the staking done at once a year or is it a continuous process throughout? If continuous,what's the time interval for which they get staked?
It starts after the coins have been in your wallet for 8 hours, If you leave your wallet open all the time you should get more then 1% because you will earn interest on interest you earn on the way to 1% total. But lets say you leave your wallet closed most of the time you will just earn larger payments once you do open it, but less over all. Also the staking process is a little random.
Would've bought a ton of BC lol..
