These are from the exchanges. But the biggests holders will only sell a bit in small pieces spread during an uptrend, to avoid erasing the buy list. They also want to sell at a good price as you, but they know they have to sell smoothly. As BC is a good investment, most are strong holders... Weak hands have already sold: before or during the last big dump. But normaly the biggest holders are aware of blackcoin history, so they hold! (I am in top 50, and will only sell 20% every x10)

It's quite easy.
Download sgminer, create a .bat file with this line in it: sgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://www.blackcoinpool.com:3333 -u BCADDRESS -p PASSWORD -I 12 and run sgminer and you should be up and running. Further specifications can be added to the .bat file to optimize performance. I'm not quite the right person to do a good guide but it's as easy as this so it's a good idea to get that out there. Post it in some of the gaming communities (like Razer).

Anybody here plan to invest in this coin for a long term? From what I read so far it seams like most people are looking for a short term and will dump this coin like a cheap whore once it reach $1 or $2. I think if this goes well it could go $100 - $300 in the long term, or any amount more than LTC and BTC but not surpass BTC because the code depends on BTC. Unless the dev somehow invent something novel (not just implementation of some existing algo like kecchak or groestl).
I really think finally POS will beat BTC. Looking at the dev-team and the community, I think; Blackcoin has no competition. So, it will be very difficult for someone to buy my BC.
I think one of the major + of this coin is this provide a potential of a real stable digital currency. If this just goes up in a slow but stable pace like as low as 3-4% a year, in 1-2 year people will see more value in this than BTC.
BTW I got no more BTC or DOGE to shield until coinbase release my next BTC batch
