BLK is the best coin of all
but marketcap is low  , dont know why
and other scam or shitcoin high than BLK...

The network requires the same cost right now as it will on a much higher volume. Transaction costs will drop relative to BLK's market cap. How's that for elegant technology. 

Rather than constantly escalating the price of mining equipment and the ongoing electrical cost of mining Bitcoin, we have the opportunity to go in the opposite direction.

Right now it costs about $20 for a raspberry pi and about $0.02 in electricity per day to mine Blackcoin. Computing equipment only gets cheaper and more efficient every year, so it should only improve going forward. Making mining accessible to everyone is the path to a truly decentralized cryptocurrency network, wherever they happen to be from.

Bitcoin was originally made to move away from an external agency having full control over our currency. And what did we get? Miners behaving like they're the Federal Reserve of crypto. 

Blackcoin is what Bitcoin was always meant to be. PoW is merely the first attempt at self-governance, but times have changed and people want self-governance now. True autonomy. 

It's not difficult to make an argument against wasteful, conflict-inducing legacy code like PoW. It's just common sense.

Blackcoin has a few very strong advantages going forwards against Bitcoin, Litecoin, and all the other Proof of Work coins. It's the developmental leader of Proof of Stake, which cuts out the middlemen of Proof of Work, the miners, allowing holders of the coins to do the work and receive the benefits of mining instead.
As can be seen in the bitcoin community at the moment, users and miners when separate can quite easily be at odds.
Another benefit of Proof of Stake is that it eliminates the competition for ever increasing processing power.
Essentially, in Proof of Work, the lottery of who records each block goes randomly to someone who's mining. It's a common misconception that PoW mining is meaningful work, it's random numbercrunching, it's purpose is to determine a random person to write each block in order to decentralize the network. Ironically the ever increasing competition in order to solve blocks has actually ultimately lead to the formation of pools, and the centralization of the network.
In Proof of Stake the number of tickets you have in the lottery of solving the next block is determined by how many coins you have staking. The probability of solving the next block is essentially however many coins you have staking over however many coins on the entire network are staking. As long as you stake you're actually beating inflation, which is a nice side effect of this method.
Proof of Stake is not only a more elegant solution than Proof of Work, but yields more benefits to those who use and hold the coins. Proof of Stake is also more scaleable, as blocktime is unrelated to security, and can simply be shortened to meet scaleabilty needs, something that Proof of Work cannot do.

Ah, I miss the time when coins were pumping on the mere news that there would be a multipool for them. Most newbs probably don't even know what a multipool is.

So great return is imminent, this news about mining is really nice, this will help in restoring of community and price. I have few gpu's i will try it, for sure. I remember how Multipool was big news once, old times are back we can espect now everything.

The ironic thing there with cryptsy was in the last flickering candlelight days of the exchange before the roof caved in, Blackcoin was one of the main ways you could withdraw your value out.   The price was wrong, was like 9 something instead of 6 something everywhere else but thats fine I just converted all coins to BLK or most of them and got out of there.  Probably still have some in my wallet now.

Im waiting for Vega to come out before perhaps doing any mining again, wont be out till July end apparently and who knows if its good but maybe as AMD sure cooks up some exotic over engineered gear it seems.   Can always use a general multipool and switch to BLK manually

im thinking get a major FI or corp to join BLK smart contracts and other use cases...
when we have no fear...we know it works, the tech is groundbreaking and at many times market leading...
it can happen....we can make it happen...the tech is solid and proven....we just need to bring the big guys eyes to BLK
show them what we got and what they could miss out on  

The blackcoin multipool really was an amazing thing. Maybe if we can get on a more reliable altcoin exchange than poloniex we can talk about bringing it back again.

I really really want to get blockstack onto black coin, we need to hire a blockstack developer and get a domain service for fees. we could sell tickets as community paid in blackcoin

eg. 10k per ticket and have 1k tickets..

what do you get for your ticket is a black coin life time membership on the blockstack internet layer with a identity registrar with your black coin public key.

Domain name fee rewards structure where every member gets a percentage of the fee forever until you sell your membership using black coin smart contract.

the ticket could then be tradable and become more valued..


by only using black coin to by tickets the rest of your coins would be more valued at the correct price it should be.. less supply and more demand because block stack is onto the layer of black coin.
