Hi Guys,
Update for today. I have still had no reply from [email protected] regarding the ongoing situation of "Waiting for confirmed transaction." after 109 confirmations on Blockchain. Has anyone else received any type of reply from CHIPMIXER support and do we know if they are actively checking this email? I tried to PM them here but their setting do not permit Nubes like myself on the forum to contact them.
Would really hope to receive some type of acknowledgment from their team today as this seems to be effecting several people.

Please fix it

Reading through from the previous page only point to this issue of nodes which is not updated or synchronising as it should. I think I have witnessed this on an exchange site before having transfer coins showing confirmed on one end and not appearing on the exchange platform. Its started to feel like scam but it was because of their nodes were under maintenance which I believed its something going on here and hopefully it can be resolved very soon before it escalates.

Since there are a lot of users reporting the same issue, this is most likely an issue with ChipMixer's node that is not catching up the new transactions. But don't worry. I'm 100% sure that they are going to fix it and everyone will be able to withdrawal your chips.

Yes, had tried with chrome and IE. Looks really like a server-side problem.

I'm sorry but you're going to have to wait for their support.
I don't think trying it on a different device will do too much (but you could always try it on a phone/another computer).

It looks as if it will most likely be a server-side issue. It's probably fully propagated on the network by now if it has that many confirmations (enough for chipmixer's servers to notice it if it is). Make sure you sent the support ticket with the token so they can fix your issue.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes I have refreshed the page and tried a different browser (Tor, Chrome). I have used chipmixer quite a few times and this is the first time I have experienced any issue. Any more suggestions? Currently on 29 confirmations

Ahhh. So OK, as a note. If anyone is running firefox, tor or noscript, javascript needs to be enabled OR you need to autorefresh it then.
@bitcoinmii has yours fixed or is it still on pending? Can you try changing browsers (both of you) and use the same token/url.

Same issue, transfered today at it still says Waiting for confirmed transaction. Please refresh page.
If you have javascript enabled, page will autorefresh every 30 seconds.

The transaction has already 6 confirms.

Did you hit F5/refresh? Usually that what fixes that issue for me.

Hi, I need some support please... I transferred to the given deposit address and I have already 12 confirmations on Blockchain, but the funds have not yet arrived on the mixer? "Waiting for confirmed transaction."
I contacted support but no reply so far, would really appreciate some assistance.

As a point on this, chipmixer has an edge that means you can probably work out funds have come from them (as they use their transactions like an exchange do but with a bit more delocalisation). However, you can't really work out who's using them as chips are a fixed size so the private keys/transactions can blend into each other if the inputs/outputs are a similar size.

HCP gave a great simplified answer to your questions @moejoejay though.

It seems that you don't understand the basics of the blockchain... It is, by design, a completely public ledger, that records "transfer of value" from one ore more public key(s) to one or more other public key(s).

To be able to transfer value from any given public key... you need to be able to sign a transaction. The only way to successfully generate a valid signature is with the private key that matches the public key. The asymmetric cryptographic properties of a signed transaction allow anyone to validate that the signature provided matches the public key, thus proving that the person has access to the private key and is therefore the "owner"... WITHOUT needing to know the private key.

As value is moved from one address to another, you can follow the chain of transactions... from AddressA -> AddressB -> AddressC etc etc... You can see that the value moved from A to C (via B)

People use mixers, so they can then do this:

AddressA -> AddressB -> MixingServiceAddressX
... chain broken ...
MixingServiceAddressY -> AddressC

The idea is to "break the chain" such that AddressA can no longer be linked through to AddressC... With no direct link between MixingServiceAddressX and MixingServiceAddressY, you can't (easily) link A to C...

All of the convoluted things you are attempting (or think that you need to do) are unnecessary if you put the coins into a service like ChipMixer... it takes care of breaking the chain so that addresses used PRIOR to the coins being sent to the mixing service are no longer directly linked to addresses used AFTER the coins are withdrawn from the mixing service.

In ChipMixer's case, the majority of the private keys are actually funded well BEFORE you even send coins to the mixing service... which makes it even harder to track the flow. As you coins are effectively time travelling


NOTE: Mixing services are not 100% effective... Advanced analytics companies exist that can still determine movement through mixers to a certain degree. If you REALLY need full anonymity, better to use a privacy focused blockchain like Monero etc.

So, the the Trace wihich gives a fingerprint on the blockchain is produced by the private key ?

What about the instruction ( Step 3 on the first page)  to withdraw with an private kay not with an transaction ? is this useless ?


May someone has an article how the blockchain could be traced that i'm ablte to understand the mechanism behind it. .. sorry I'm not an crypto pro

It would be nice to see segwit incorporated at some point also but maybe is a little too soon and would be difficult to offer people the choice (as some people still like to use legacy).

It is still too soon for that. Importing private key as segwit address is complicated.

Main clearnet domain is chipmixer.com. We have .io domain and it redirects to .com because we do not want our users to remember many different domains. Use .com if you need to use clearnet. Use .onion if you can.
