If i deposit an amount from 0.004433

what happens with the 0.000433 ?
From ChipMixer's FAQ:

Quote
What will happen if I send less than lowest chip?

Since we don't have chips lower than 0.001 BTC, your deposit will be treated as donation. Be aware that if you send 0.0015 BTC, you will receive one 0.001 BTC chip. Sending 0.0015 BTC twice will result in three 0.001 BTC chips.

I would recommend importing the private keys and not using the sweep function as that will allow you better control of the transactions fees. Sweep functions usually just use the recommended fee.

But sweeping extends privacy or ?

Not really. If you use Electrum and make a wallet just for the chips, import the private keys to the chips and then send them to another wallet then the privacy will be exactly the same but you have more control of the transaction(s).

But sweeping extends privacy or ?
Sweep: Move coins from Address 1 to Address 2 in your wallet.
Import: Coins from Address 1 can now be spent from your wallet.

For privacy, it doesn't really matter which you use. The most important thing is to use a new wallet, so that your next transaction won't be linked with your old addresses.

I know of a similar method, which is what the person who introduced me to Bitcoin used and adviced me to consider, which is to use one of the most popular sites as a published Bitcoin address. As you know, with sites like this, when you deposit bitcoins the internal wallet immediately moves it away into another address.

Of course, this does mean that your published address is associated with the site if people look hard enough, but that's not a problem for me. But if they look up the address they see it is emptied out to all sorts of other addresses, and in fact spent to other people.

That also means that you are not in control of the private keys so the Bitcoin is not effectively yours while it is held at a site/service. I've been around long enough to know the risks involved in that. The other thing you are not in control of is the transaction fees that site charges you to withdraw. Doing it the way I do my Bitcoins are as safe as I keep them and I have full control over what fees I pay, even when moving my chips to another wallet.

I've always been curious as to why people mix their bitcoin. I know privacy is the number one reason, but when do you personally mix your coins?

For me, it's specifically when I need to transfer a decent sum of Bitcoin to another party and don't have enough in my hot wallets to cover the transaction. Whenever I have to dip into my cold storage, I send what I need to transfer to a mixer before sending it to my recipient. Can I assume that this is the major reason why you guys tumble your coins? Or am I wrong, and should use mixers more often than I think I need to? I'd like to hear your reasoning, if you're comfortable with sharing.

For a number of reasons, I have published some of my Bitcoin addresses on this forum and other places on the internet (like the signature campaign). That means that anyone can find those addresses and by using tools readily available find all the other addresses in that wallet. From time to time I empty that wallet using ChipMixer and send the chips to a 'private' wallet that I've never published an address from. That way nobody knows how much I'm worth. I wouldn't publish my bank statements on the internet and that's effectively what you do everytime you publish a Bitcoin address.

so if i want to mixing bitcoins in the following way

                               Wallet 1 ---> Wallet 2 ---> Chipmixer  ---> Wallet 1

Transfer-Fees:

Wallet 1 ---> Wallet 2 YES

Wallet 2 ---> Chipmixer YES

Why not
Wallet 1 ---> ChipMixer
Wallet 2 ---> ChipMixer
Chipmixer  ---> Wallet 3

I don't see any benefit in sending from wallet 1 to wallet 2 rather than just sending both directly to the ChipMixer deposit address.
Also if you send everything back to the same wallet you started with then you haven't really done anything to enhance your privacy. If you use another new wallet then there will be no way to connect that wallet with the 2 source wallets.

Chipmixer  ---> Wallet 1   YES( send to wallet ) OR NO ( you can use export the key and add to the wallet 1 directly)

did i understand  this correctly ?

Should i use the sweep Function for the private key  ?

Do i understand it right that i have to donate at least the smallest chip size ?
or could i use the service for free also
What fee do you take?
We use Pay what you want as pricing strategy. It mean you set how much value our service is to you.
You may split chips into size you wish to donate.

no. you don't have to donate the smallest chip size, but your deposit will be rounded down to the nearest mBTC
you can use the service completely free if you wish so Cool
for exampe: you deposited 0.12345600 BTC. your deposit will be treated as 0.123 BTC
thus you will receive 0.123 BTC in size: 0.08, 0.04, 0.002, 0.001 BTC chips.

edit: sorry for redundant post after TryNinja, there was no reply when I started composing my post

You can use it for free and withdrawal every chip. But keep in mind that if BTC fees are too high, you may not be able to withdrawal some kind of low-value chips (i.e 1 and 2 mBTC). But you will be able to save them in a vouch for later.

I was on the FAQ page it took me 20 minutes, and trying all the browsers I have, to understand this page needs javascript otherwise you can not click to see the answers...
I think ChipMixer can tweak it pretty easy to accomodate non-javascript user
He can set those answers uncollapsed as default and only collapse/hide them in the beginning/init when the browser has js turned on

display: none;
but I think js still needed on the first step for refreshing the deposit status
otherwise you have to manually refresh the page to check on your deposit confirmation

Technically it isn't required to do the mixing part, which is the most important part.

Why i get an destroyed session id for a new one ?
---snip---
i got the same id again when i start a new session.
---snip---
and an  deposit wallet address is also predifined in the wallet field

I think it has something to do with web cookies and the way the system assign new sessionID and depo address
if I completely close the browser and start mixing again I'm getting new session ID
but yes I'm still getting the SAME deposit address again
it might be put in place for good reasons to avoid a few future problems (lost/expired session ID?)
I'm pretty sure once the address is funded, you won't be getting the same one if you destroy it and start a new one

I can verify this answer...
If i create a new session, fund the address, wait for a confirmation, sweep the private key, destroy the session THEN create a new mixing session, i get the same sessionid, but a different deposit address.

If i create a new session, fund the address, wait for a confirmation, sweep the private key, DON'T destroy the session (never go to step 4) THEN create a new mixing session before the session expired, i get the same sessionid and deposit address. However, if i fund this address for the second time, i get new chips equaling the value of the second deposit and when i go to step 3, i see the private keys for the "first" session and the "second" session... I think it's working as designed, and i have no problem with this.
