for hours .. server problems?

Our Tor service is under DOS attack. We are working to resolve this issue.
All existing sessions will be extended for another 7 days.

Hi! Why not use Cloudflare?

I'm getting a 502 on the dot com is that under attack too?

I think it's more than obvious that if someone performs a DOS attack on CM Tor service, it is doing same thing with clearnet service.

I personally have not experienced such a long DOS attack on CM, for several days whenever I try to access clearnet link in 99% of cases I get error 502, with a few exceptions when the page is only partially loaded.

Are there any other official tor links or just the main one?
These are the only official links:

Does anybody try to use Tor service?

I did try it, but still can't get access to the website.

@ChipMixer

Why is there no statement about this "downtime"?

Unfortunately there has been no statement yet, if there is, we would see that in this thread first.
According to the previous post, it can be access using TOR browser but actually I'm not using such, so my question, is there any chance that https://chipmixer.com/ will be back again in the future?

I'm still getting "502 Bad Gateway" error Cry
since I don't have tor browser, would it be safe to use tor2web service?
it works by appending ".to" to the onion site url, like this chipmixerwzxtzbw.onion.to
I'm guessing this would be a bad idea and they (tor2web) can steal my bitcoin Undecided ??
That would be volunteering to allow a Man-in-the-middle attack. Installing a Tor Browser is the proper way to use .onion sites.

Tor works, but I can't get past captcha. It looks like a server problem indeed.

I am getting the Bad Gateway error for clearnet and a "The connection was reset" error for tor. This has been happening for the last 2 days. Are there any other official tor links or just the main one?

as I understand it, they can figure out the addresses... but who can't?
all transactions are available on the blockchain,
if you ever used ChipMixer you can figure it out yourself too
but you will only know the deposit addresses and the output addresses (chip sizes)

Do you really think ChipMixer coins will be properly mixed after this?
well, don't blame the mixer! it's the hacker who stupid enough to merge the mixed outputs Tongue
ChipMixer has done its job, but merging the outputs with no additional techniques is just plain stupid
there is no apparent connection between the ins and outs, they are fully disconnected
and as long as the user maintains certain techniques using his coins, it will stay disconnected

https://bit.ly/387FXHi lightning theory
Mixing works by combining your inputs with others and then sending you an equal sized portion of funds... If you're going to send 500 btc to a mixing service and pull out that 500 btc, you're likely to get caught. If that site saw 4000btc going in and only 100 coming out then ChipMixer have actually done a pretty good job at protecting their privacy. Mixers divide coins and then let them be withdrawn in a way that allows "evil" to be shared.

If you're mixing huge volumes of funds, learn how to do it correctly, there are more stages you can involve than just a mixer... And if you're pulling your funds out within a few days there's likely going to be a trace.

If that site manages to publish its results rather than looking as if they're trying to get views and customers of their service they might be believed further...

I doubt the hacker would only mix once if they've done their research, its not unlikely that those funds are ChipMixers too and they're trying to obfuscate the hackers funds (if they indeed did use ChipMixer).

I don't think it would be right for ChipMixer to confirm or deny this either and there isn't much for them to go on. Frankly the data they keep is probably deleted by now if the sessions were only 7 days long and weren't extended...

I don't think you understand what mixing is.
Unfortunately, I do!

But, yes. This doesn't impact Chipmixer at all, or your privacy.
A flat statement like this is meaningless. Please back up your statement with logic.

Any exchange that assumes you are the one that hacked them -/ "binance" -/ and thus tries to take your funds from you is an exchange you should avoid.
Binance neither claimed that ChipMixer hacked them, nor did they try to take the funds back from ChipMixer. In any case, I do not use Binance.

@ChipMixer My original Q still stands. This is creating doubts about your modus operandi. Please respond to this directly - Researchers are claiming that they have detected an extensive pool of Chipmixer's addresses. Do you really think ChipMixer coins will be properly mixed after this?

Seems that whatever the issue was, it has now been rectified... I'm able to connect with both clearnet and Tor and get past the captcha and get a new mixing session.

Missing funds. I sent 200$ to them, and I got nothing even after XXX confirmations and 24 hours wait!
perhaps it is another system glitch, it happened before and resolved in a timely manner
