https://bit.ly/387FXHi lightning theory
Have you tried restoring and then going to step 3 to see if the keys are there?

They'll sort it within 48-72 hours normally anyway if you've sent an email request.

So whenever you restore the seession it says you have a chip worth BTC0.000?

Go back to step 1 and make sure you got the address right (you might want to check it on another device too just in case a virus or something has changed it). Once you've done that, send an email to chipmixer's support at the bottom of their site (the protonmail one) and they should be able to fix your issue.

You could actually try going to step 3 too just in case you've already click ed that accidentally as that could be another reason why it's saying BTC0.0000

I've sent to correct bitcoin address, and i see in script 0.000 bitcoins!

I think they are running an exit scam.
I highly doubt that. Whenever a problem came up, it was always resolved within a few days.

First, check if you used the real website (phishing sites have been around for a long time). Then, send an email to Support.

I've used the real website. And each time I am going back to it, and entering my session code, this is what i see at Step2:

and yeah , i really sent 0.02, and not 0.00002 or whatever:

There may be a mistake on my side.

After filling the captcha:

link:http://chipmixerwzxtzbw.onion/captcha
error: Server internal error
Weird... mine it working fine. After I fill the captcha, I get redirected to the first step of the mixing process (saving the session token).

Probably unrelated, but try getting a new Tor identify.

I just got on the onion site, what is the issue you have? Can you try it again if it was just connection. Momentary downtime shouldn't cause too much of an issue it isn't a critical system just wait for it to come back (you have to wait for your transaction to confirm anyway)...

First post. Account set up just because of this. That the onion url doesn't work is weird.
I stopped believing this mixer.

If they fix the onion page. I may start using it again.
Maybe you should explain what "fix" means in this case. I just tried and I don't see anything wrong with it?

You probably accidentally went to step 3 or 4, you could try reloading the cache in your history but it might be best to send an email to the ChipMixer address on their site with the address you deposited to and a signed and dated message from the address you sent from.

Thanks for the suggestions, I sent the signed message. & I'll try the cache suggestion in a bit.

EDIT: This really blows. The funds are still in the address I sent my deposit to, untouched. The session is still active as well. If I try to move to step 3, I get a message saying "No chips were withdrawn. Please go back to step 2." If I navigate to that page it says "Total chips   0.000 BTC"

How is it possible that I have an active session with no chips, no vouchers, and no bitcoin despite clearly making a deposit?
This happened to an user 2 days ago. It was just a bug, so ChipMixer investigated and gave him his chips. Maybe the same happened to you.

ChipMixer isn't going to scam you. Just wait.

I appreciate the reassurance. Yeah, from the pages upon pages of discussion I felt relatively comfortable giving them a try. Under normal circumstances, I'd just charge it to the game and wait patiently. I also wouldn't usually even consider posting about an issue I'm having in any amount of detail as my first post on a forum.

At any rate, thanks for tolerating it. You'll have this to reference the next time someone comes on here tripping about this or that. Wink

Hi, this is my first time using your service. I deposited btc, went to step 2, scrolled down and saw my chips and then the page refreshed and literally everything is now gone. The session is still active but it now shows zero chips, zero btc. Nothing. All gone.

Please tell me I'm not out all of the btc I sent. I'm having my first kid in less than 8 weeks and lost my job due to a company shut down last week. I can't afford to take any losses like that right now. I emailed about this as well... sorry to blow you up, but I 100% can't lose that btc. It will actually mess my life up.

And where is bitblender today? Gone
It was a broken mixer, someone who knows how to was able to deanonymize any transaction

Just as worth noting is the amount of people who weren't able to withdraw before they disappeared completely. The sexiness of the mixing don't count for much if the person doing it is going to help themselves to your money which is the case of many a mixer.

Why the hell is your site hosted on the clearweb and only additionally on Tor?
Our site is hosted on Tor and only additionaly on clearweb.
Clearweb site allows clearnet users to get some privacy. We suggest all to use Tor.

With an unrelated .com and a Tor .onion on an unknown server you could make sure that the mixes will always be private.
Should we advertise that unrelated .com or keep it secret? How does it make mixes private?

For transparency reason - there is a scam accusation against ChipMixer active:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.52085359

It is pretty clear IMHO, have a .com domain only for advertising and to explain how to get to the .onion.

That is the only secure way of doing it.

If you run the server on .com and .onion, tor will protect users traffic but won't hide your servers location, so it is possible for law enforcement to find the server and to try to get inside.
And don't tell me they can't, if it is important for them, they will break encryption with some cold boot attack.

Of course you could say the .com is an extra server, and it connects to the .onion using the tor network.
That would make your server hidden again, but how can users trust that?
You could just say it is an extra server, but in reality it is all the same.

Conclusion: Host sensitive things like a mixer that is in full spotlight because of the binance hack etc only on .onion

In case you are considering doing the only right thing, and fix this, you should rent a new server, transfer all data using tor from the old server to the new server.
Then wipe the old server and never use it again.

Point the .com to some unrelated offshore hosting, like bitblender did.

And never connect to the new server with your real ip or VPN, tor only!
Because if they were already watching the old server, and you connected with anything except tor, they will also watch your ISP / VPN.

And better get a new .onion, since the private_key was on your old server, i would consider it compromised.

If i don't get only stupid replies, i will write a short guide on how to run a mixer that is actually secure and working.
I put a lot of thought into it, and the only one who ever got it right was bitblender.
For various reasons which i can explain.

Researchers are claiming that they have detected an extensive pool of Chipmixer's addresses.

https://blog.clain.io/binance-hack-2019-deep-dive-into-the-money-laundering/

Do you really think ChipMixer coins will be properly mixed after this?
