Hello

Chips have been refilled. You can redeem your vouchers now.

more important is in case you use deposits to create new Chips, what is the difference between you and a Coinjoin provider?
"mixing time" and "coin age" would be the main difference,
with coinjoin, there's delay time before you receive younger coin as the result of your coinjoin transaction
with chipmixer, instant because you get premixed older coin in an address ready to use

Do you just merge them or you try to mix them and obfuscate before offering those " mixed " chips
try the mixer, then you can tell yourself by observing the following:
- follow where your deposit coin finally ends up at, up to chip size amount
- backtrack the origin of the mixed coin that you received

hey

thank you for the reply

i would try it if you confirm a refill.

I made a transaction today and it's pretty unusual to me since I usually withdraw all my chips but today I receive vouchers.

I tried to redeem my vouchers 3 times already it all ended up me creating new vouchers, so far, I have 3 vouchers created already and I have save it all.

I need some advise, when can I use or redeem my voucher again? Do I have to use the last one generated?

Edit : 4 times already..

I'm having the same problem here. Let's hope for a refill soon.

ChipMixer normally gives an announcement here. The refill will normally takes less than 3 days...

It improves your privacy while you wait though...

hello

it means, that they are out of chips.  as soon as they refilled fresh chips you can redeem using your voucher ( the lastest one ) in order to get chips out of it.

I've read about that and I just want to read some confirmation here, thanks for you answer.

But may I know how long will the chips refilled and will there be an announcement about that or I'll just try and try?

https://bit.ly/387FXHi lightning theory
Afaik, Alice's chip would be split into other chips (if she deposits 1.024 for example) then she migh have that deposit split into 1mbtc chips and then those chips merged or something similar. Those strategies work, I've watched a lot of videos from universities who explain it as a splitting technique. ChipMixer might do something else too but just splitting the chips removes the obviousness...

Hello

its a very interesting Mixing Provider.

However i guess your using the customer deposits to create new chips.

If so then here some questions:

- do you try to obfuscate those deposits first in order to create chips with them afterwards?
- for ex Alica deposits 1 bitcoin on 04.02.2019 and gets private keys from 14.01.2019, everything is well so far. but what if alice deposits later on on 23.04.2019 and gets 1 btc chip from 04.02.19 ( maybe her own coins )?

more important is in case you use deposits to create new Chips, what is the difference between you and a Coinjoin provider?

Do you just merge them or you try to mix them and obfuscate before offering those " mixed " chips

simudrone claims he never wanted it and that address C is not his
Sent one to my address and waited for it to show up, when it didnt after a couple hours I messaged them saying the coin I sent didnt arrive and that now im unsure how to proceed and do they need a different address.
Looks like simudrone's PC is probably infected, potentially a clipboard hijacking?

@Simudrone, you should virus scan your pc.

support sweeps chip A to address C
support writes email explaining what happened, why chip A was not sweeped and that chip A was manually sweeped to customers address C

simudrone claims he never wanted it and that address C is not his

Looks like a miscommunication to me. Simudrone lost Chip B instead of A, and chipmixer thought he lost/forgot about A instead of B.
Now both are probably fallen into the hands of a clipboard hijacker kiddo.

Note though; i don't think chipmixer could've handled things much differently. It's not their fault you have an infected device.

To clarify simudrone situation

simudrone deposits A+B mBTC -  receives A mBTC chip and B mBTC chip
he withdraws both chips - receives both private keys (funded) but sweeps one of them (B)
he sends angry email to return his BTC to his address - provides address C

support check his session
- sweeping transaction is already confirmed
- one chip (A) is not sweeped
support sweeps chip A to address C
support writes email explaining what happened, why chip A was not sweeped and that chip A was manually sweeped to customers address C

simudrone claims he never wanted it and that address C is not his

So this is crap.  ChipMixer lost my funds... they sent 2 transactions to an address that was only supposed to receive 1.  Yes its the real ChipMixer

I did not tell them to do this and its not clear yet if ill be able to recover my missing funds...
is the address work as a one time payment/deposit address?
you should contact the owner of the address to rectify this, ask for proper credit or refund excess amount
without chipmixer support help, you could've used the private keys and (re)sent your own transaction

This is a weird story...

You need to explain what happend, since Chipmixer doesn't send any transactions... They either give you your chips, or a voucher.

~
I've never heard about chipmixer sending any funds ever, but perhaps there's a first time for everything.
indeed weird  Undecided afaik chipmixer never manually create/send transaction for its users
the last time I had problem with chipmixer, I was given a voucher with the same amount of my "missing" funds

It's suggested you wait to redeem a chip after at least 48 hours. It's also a good idea to use different chip sizes and send finds through other services...

Is that even mentioned on the site?

I think it's mentioned somewhere during the mixing progress? Either way that's just general advice for enhancing your privacy when using any sort of mixing service (ie. waiting a week before moving coins will make blockchain analysis harder than waiting an hour) and should usually have no effect on your experience with ChipMixer (which will greatly improve your privacy regardless of how long you let coins lie).

So, what happend..; you send your funds to the deposit adress, and then you
1. received an incorrect amount of chips?
2. received an incorrect amount of voucher balance?

In which you proceeded to email Chipmixer's support, and which they acted upon by sending the remainder of your "missing" funds to the same adress?
I've never heard about chipmixer sending any funds ever, but perhaps there's a first time for everything.

Nope. I had two chip amounts.  Sent one to my address and waited for it to show up, when it didnt after a couple hours I messaged them saying the coin I sent didnt arrive and that now im unsure how to proceed and do they need a different address.
The chip you received had unconfirmed funds on it when you received it, and then got dropped from the mempool, is that right, or? (I don't think it is, but i don't see any other way in which the conclusion would be you losing your funds due to a mistake from Chipmixer's side of things.)

Is it possible that you accidentally "clicked twice" to create two transactions and/or you copy-pasted the wrong address (possibly clipboard jacking?)? Huh

After receiving this the frigging geniuses at chipmixer decided to just send the rest of it to the same address!

Then by email they actually tried to claim that I told them to do that!

I pointed out this is clearly false and theyre not even responding at this point.  DO NOT USE CHIPMIXER

I normally mix stuff and then buy hashing power with it to add a delay...

So getting your chips a few days after you deposit is in reading your privacy though its probably not so preferable...

I would argue that, the fact that we get chips that are no older than 1 week, limits the success of the mix.
I have also noticed that it can sometimes take up to one week until a deposit has turned into chips.
So if the creation of chips would be sooner after a deposit/donation, wouldn't this increase the age of chips?
