Is it just me thinking 10 mins block time is too long?

I have a 6970 that runs about 18k   |  69xx are (by now) low-mid-end graphics cards.. capable of completing within the time given. But not great ppd yielders...altough it is for science so every little bit helps=)  Another quote : folding forum :Not sure why one would need to do that. Coin has so much momentum it'll get picked up by exchanges faster then you can solicitate & vote... And lets not forget... its only day 2! (or is it 3? insomnia's a b1tc! )

Many people that started to fold are experiencing an intentional built in delay of the payout system. By around 6 pm EST your accounts should show incoming balance on the pool. Im going to make some changes due to the high demand to make the stats more real time. Also, many have asked why their balance and estimated next payment are the same. This is because I ran an extra manual test run to make sure the system was working (and it is indeed working). This in effect gave all the people that were folding without pay before launch a double bonus, just like I said would happen to all those that were folding just to support the cause of team Curecoin.

The pool is active right now, and will automatically update new stats in about 6 and 1/2 hours. Ill be standing by for support if any has any issues however I have triple checked many users and it looks like everything is good to go. The points delay will be paying you out basically for the work you did the day before. If you were to quit folding now, the points you make today would be paid out tomorrow. The system has been through many different tests and improvements were made every time. First we did the GLC test, then there was the FRK test ( did not work well for low power users because FRK is scarce and hard to divide to many people) and recently we did the RKC test (which proved the system can handle a large amount of tx). This is now the final stage, many people had a good experience with the tests by following the instructions to the t. Now that we are in official launch that will last for years, there will be plenty of time to get everyone using the system properly, and I will continue to make improvements.

1) It won't upload properly - there should be other ways check the Stanford website.

2) I'm not but that PPD seems a bit low. Are they on the same machine the drivers may be better for the 290s but you may need different effective drivers for a 6990 because its older.

I run a 6950 and that does 15k ppd.

A couple of questions:

1) How do I know if a WU is corrupt because my GPU is overclocked too high (or for any other reason)?

2) Is anyone mining with a 6990? I have one on a machine with 2 290s and the 6990. The 290s do 140,000 PPD and the 6990 does ~32,000. (a 6990 is faster than a single 290 in most benchmarks)

By the way, have you solicited other exchanges to list your coin?

OR when do you expect to do that?

You will see that not only is team Curecoin folding faster then the previous champs, but we are folding almost 2x as fast already! And we are launching more and more power at it. Soon we might be 10x faster then the previous champs. A true picture of how effective this project is.

The next time I open the cold storage for the premine, Ill grab the address and post it, Ill be sure to do that asap. Soon the premine will be dispersed accordingly to different addresses. I imagine the donors wont want their address to be public, Ill ask them for their permission on that one. As far as Dev addresses, I have no problem posting those. Note: The plans for dev payment is to disperse the dev funds on a monthly basis proportional to the rate the folding funds and sha coin base is mined. The devs will not be receiving their entire % all at once. It will be slowly dispersed to the devs.

The 2% for donors was a necessary part of launching curecoin. Without their investment Curecoin would not exist today, sure, you can call them lucky, but they took a risk on my project and that's how the investment world works. As far as the 3% for the devs, Curecoin has been (1 and a half years in the making) and will be my full time job. We will be providing pretty much 24/7 support and maintaining and upgrading the folding pool.
If you can find someone that will do that for free, then by all means do it.

If I have missed anything here please let me know. I have been answering questions all night long on the forum, through emails, and so on. I had to make myself some coffee which I rarely do. I'm so proud of this project that I think Ive been up for 24 hours now working away at it. Team Curecoin is currently already the fastest folding team on earth. Is that not amazing?

My personal thoughts,

1) A lot of effort went into the dev of this coin compared to the usual cut and paste alts out there.
2) 3% premine was large last year but not nowadays given the giveaways and any external dev cost in the future.
3) I don't think the 2% split amongst the donors equates to a lot of coins right now given how users have started folding and mining.
4) You can't see the addresses yet as there's no block explorer yet.
5) I think the identities are already known as the lead dev had to communicate with Stanford at the beginning.

I've seen a few scams and this doesn't smell like one.
