True.  I was thinking of sending 'back' blocks of about 500.  Sending to myself I'd have one big block.  That's maybe even better, actually.  If the mint blocks split like most I can at least figure out how big they are and re-coagulate when they get small again.

the numbers don't seam to add up.
I did about 4.6M ppd
our team did    38,279,246
It appears I did well over 10%, which if I am correct we all split up about 7400 coins per day.  I should have received over 750.  
I have pending
maybe I am jumping the gun and you are still fixing the lopsided payment from yesterday.. if so please ignore.


edit:  update:
I see from the website that my coins were calculated at 3.2M ppd

so I think I am just owed the points from the day before: 4685197 - 3266910 = 1418287 ppd.

We had a hiccup with stats yesterday, payouts still occurred but addresses were credited for more than one day of folding, so the 7488 coins got distributed a bit lopsided. That issue is fixed, today's payout will be perfect.

Daily stats get calculated around 4AM UTC.

Has anyone received curecoins at the pool with the new format yet?

Thanks for the quick response! Your last sentence clears everything up for me. I don't care about losing the points I've already accumulated, so long as 224497 does still keep them. I do have to set up a new crytobullions account through curecoin with the new name though right?

The FoldingCoin team counts stats differently than Curecoin does, so they can dispense coins to people regardless of team affiliation.

Great idea, just want to run this past everyone for clarification.

So I make a new user name/wallet through foldingcoin first, then set that up with FAH, finally with curecoin and do all the folding under the curecoin team? What happens to the foldingcoin team as far as Stanford is concerned with their point system then? How does foldingcoin disperse coins to people that aren't actually folding under their team number?

The FoldingCoin Inc. team and the Curecoin team have recently had a conference call to discuss each of the projects. Though the infrastructure and protocols used for each coin differ, FoldingCoin Inc. and Curecoin are both dedicated to attracting more folders and miners into the F@H project.

Right now, we have the code for Merkle signatures and address generation up, along with test classes. There is a package with a BlueJ file for quick, portable testing if anyone wants to play with it. This code is still subject to change, don't waste time VanityGen-ing addresses with the above code.

In the next 4-5 weeks we'd like to have a preliminary public pre-alpha with:
-Merkle Addresses
-Simplified Blockchain
-Certificate System

The simplified blockchain will behave similar to that in Cryptonite (XCN).

Dev mentioned an update for CURE around end of January but I haven't seen any news.  There's a lot of news from similar coins however.

Suggestion:  Quick update to users and community is needed.  It's fine if you need to push back deadlines but there needs to be more communication even if just checking in here and there.  No time for such affairs?  Work with another CURE user and allow them to help and relay information to the community.

I'm thinking of putting up some buy orders. I've held a small amount of curecoin for several months, folded with my laptop for a while. What's new? Should I have a new wallet? How's staking?

You can just send it to an address you have as well... no need to get exchanges involved.

Well, popped my first minting interest yesterday.  Created a whopping .25 CURE between them.  They were small blocks, 14 and 24 CURE.

Pining away for the new wallet with coin control.  I can do it 'manually', I guess, send my stash to an exchange and send it back to get rid of all the dust.

Hey dev's I heard a rumor, you will be making the max name length longer. We will now be able to earn double rewards with Folding Coin. Is this true? If so, would you mind explaining a little. 

Any updates dev. ?

Would be a great idea to make it work with Trezor (the Bitcoin safe)
