DAO PlayMarket2.0 has the platform-based PLAYMARKET FUND

All holders of the PlayMarket Token (PMT) automatically become co-owners of the platform-based PlayMarket Fund (PMF). The fund receives 5% of the issued tokens of mobile apps placed via the platform. PMT owners have the opportunity to trade them on the PlayMarket Exchange (PEX), or hold them for receiving dividend income. Also owners can trade PMT on third-party exchanges.
Trading of the PlayMarket 2.0 token will be launched after the end of the ICO.

So this will be defined as a security in the US and Singapore?

that's a good observation. it might be considered as a security.
If it is solid & indeed secure, why not...
But, security is a very touchy topic, and the more secure something is made, the more eyes are on it from those who want to bring it down... Which means.. the dev team will have to be sure about there coding & technology so those kind of people are demotivated to bring it down...

And I would be choosing the dividend over cashing out anyhow.
I'm convinced that hodling on to the tokens make the coin strong and builds trust towards the development team. Fast dumpers bring such projects out of balance.

What the heck are you babbling about, webwakko? A security is a tradeable financial asset. If you run an ICO you don't want your tokens to be securities because then you get into trouble with American regulators.

Indeed this is a security!
This will exclude a lot of potential investors. You ever thought about that?

It looks like its a security in relation with the "dividend" word highlighted above. Smiley

Probably bittrex won't list these tokens but there will be many other exchanges Wink

Very nice to see that new advisor on board, it’s pretty important for the sucess of a project, investors put a lot of importance in that. DAO Playmarket will be really supported, an apps store based on blockchain is really disruptive.

Having good advisors is great for marketing/pr and also for ensuring that the project can be delivered in the best way, and in the best direction.
I hope he can contribute to the growth of the project and to comply with the planned roadmap.

I am not finding restrictions to investing from anywhere, (like from US citizens) and that raises some concerns to me. I thought it would be required by law to mention it somewhere on icos that are securities.

If this PlayMarket token is indeed an investment then why is the commission only 1%? (Or is it 5%? White paper is a bit difficult to understand about this) Would be more attractive for investors if the commission was closer to the competition but low enough to get developers in board. For example 15% which is the half of Google Play.
Hello! The comission is only 1% for publication. Dividends for the investor depend on the number of applications released on the ICO, as the developer pays 5% to the fund. That's why the comission is so low, it is needed to attract developers.

Do I understand this correctly if you say you will increase the price after some time?
As far as I know price will vary depending on time and sold amount of these tokens

The price of the tokens will depend on the stage and the number of tokens you're going to purchase.

The team is not denying that the this is a security, it is obvious that this is a security and expect some countries to be ban from participating, but I think if the recent trend is anything to go by, expect to buy the token cheaper on exchange

Anyway, US people will still be able to join this project by buying tokens on exchanges.
On etherdelta you can trade on the first day of the distribution of the coins. Sometimes it's a lot cheaper there than during the ICO.

Indeed, they will be a great addition to the team with their knowledge and background in crypto. You just got a lot of extra points from  community.
