I investigate this for 2 month ago. this is really the good Masternode. I hold 1000 when it was 0.1$, I don't have spare server to setup VPS.
Will I lost all my Das ?

I am just not sure why our dev won't show up every. I also wish that we would just go on cryptopedia since there offering an easy move for nova coins. I really hope something good happens before this completely dies off.

easy answear, 2 500 000 dot is 16 000 usd +- when i last checked

Can the community take over the project if the dev is not doing anything? If yes, who'd like to join?

This question comes up about every two weeks.

The community could take over but without the dev it would be a fork.  Not to throw the Dev under the bus, but the main complaint is he is not very active on the forum nor very responsive to questions or bugs.

So there are 3 main options:

Fork it - Dev receives a reward (his premine) for no additional work, would be almost like starting a new coin without the Dev, would moderately protect those who had coins, but the majority of the benefit would be ot the Dev.
Start a new coin - DaS is based on DASH, so it would be little more work to clone DASH again and start a new coin.  Dev would not receive any reward.
Find a new coin - If you feel that DaS isn't getting the support it needs, abandon it and find another coin.  If you have developer skills, it would be far easier to contribute to an existing coin than to fork this one or start a new one.

So really, unless you've got a HUGE holding of DaS, you're better off to chalk it up as a loss and go a different route.  If you do have a HUGE holding of DaS, a fork might benefit you but probably not enough compared to the work load it would be.

Yeah...its a real shame with these types of coins/people that abandon their coins and don't look after them properly. There are so many coins of this type in the crypto world, which at the end of the day make the crypto market untidy with more than 30% being abandoned, which have been created to generate money for the 'devs' (if you could call them like that in this case). I guess another coin dead.

I wouldn't say it is a shame. It demonstrates a very relevant feature of a new era. People can launch a currency, leave it, overtake another one and whatever. And it also shows how important trust ultimately is in currency itself in order for it to function. Same with fiat. Anyway, forking this coin would probably be the only safe option if you want to prevent the dev from dumping his premine.

The problem with forking is unless you fork and start anew, then the Dev gets his premine in the new coin as well.  If you fork and start anew, then no one retains their holdings and you're probably better off forking/cloning DASH or another coin that is more advanced.

To everyone who has DAS stuck on Nova and don't know what to do, Sell them for BTC, transfer that BTC to another exchange or your own BTC wallet.  Yes you will have lost money but it's your only choice.

For everyone else who has DAS in your own personal wallet/MNs, I'm afraid just like me you will lose all you have invested in this shitcoin, unless:
  • Nova fix their wallet but that isn't going to happen.
  • DAS gets listed on another exchange but that's not going to happen with the current lack of a viable network.
  • There's a community takeover at some point and the wallets and network gets fixed and people start mining it again, this is up to everyone!
