In order to succeed you need to attract smart peopld to your coin, preferable devs, investors with a lot of money would also help. In order to attract smart people(not just people that want to get rich by pumping shitcoins) you need to actually have a good project.
Monero, etherium and bitcoin succeded by simply being unique, bytecoin failed mostly due to the 82% premine. XDN can succeed by having
-solid anonymity(XMR seams to be ahead currently)
-Proof of activity.
-encrypted messages.
-good GUI wallet.
Of course the network effect is also important but in order to outcompete other currencies it needs to be better than them, just being as good or slightly better will result in failure.
I believe a good strategy would be to spread the awareness about XDN to dissidents, they would benefit from being able to send messages and money anonymously.
The price is only 29 satoshi now, buy as much as you can!

For me, if XDN is able to reach more exchanges, it can be the perfect replacement for dogecoin, high emission, stable price and low fees, perfect to move coins through exchanges
The founders of Dogecoin create it for fun and they want to keep it like that (this is what they say). If you want to make some good investments then you should look elsewhere.I tried to contact some exchange to tell to add XDN. I was said they have to value XDN, and if it meets their requirment it would be on the list. Others can do the same, maybe something will change and XDN may become more popular.

How's the tipbot going?
I tried to patch the simplewallet so that it has the get_bulk_payments RPC command, but it failed to compile. I'll try to mess with it some more maybe tonight or tomorrow.
Edit: if someone wants to implement get_address and get_bulk_payments RPC commands, I'll put a bot up, but I can't get it building. These commands exist in monero and aeon, but it seems like bytecoin and xdn codebase have diverged quite a bit so it's not straightforward to add them in, and I'm not a c++ programmer.
