Please read back through the thread for the developer explanation of how staking works, per the code itself, please don't come here with ignorance and start trying to convince other ignorant people that something is wrong, when all you have to do is read the *short* thread to find your answers.

hey all. Today when i opened my distrocoin wallet , i received an 0.5 mining payment from "unknown", it also had this message in the transaction details.

"Generated coins must mature 50 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours."

Im confused as i have not mined (to my knowledge )

I've checked the block explorer and it seems that POS started at block 26000 but I was not able to see where this is defined in the source code. Does anyone know where I can find this ?

I wasnt staking for a long time... I opened my wallet this morning for the first time in 1 week... and I got almost instant a stake block... very nice too finnaly see s0me stakes coming in... Cool

Don't you think one good stabilized coin with anon development is enough? Vericoin's devs are just fantastic and they put so much effort into this coin.

I think he was saying that VRC is a clone of BC with fluff tech. The VRC centralized "ring node" anon tech is nonsense at best. No coin has implemented a great decentralized anon solution other than maybe BBR....and there are other problems there.
