One thing i forgot to do after moving to DMD 3.0, is to make compliments to the devs, finally a wallet not resource hungry..... passed (in RAM usage) from more than 500Mb. to 80Mb.

This is another great improvement..... thanks again.

I only received some "Orphan Blocks" in Wallet.
Do I have something to do?

make sure u run wallet 3013 from here
https://github.com/DMDcoin/Diamond/releases

I got 3013 wallet three days ago.
Sync is complete and "diamond" is blue.
Should I do something else?
Thank you!

Can I receive Diamonds at old address I have already received diamonds at? I have a miner going to that address.

Yes if you do export a private key tied to the address from old wallet and import it into a new wallet  Smiley

make sure u run wallet 3013 from here
https://github.com/DMDcoin/Diamond/releases

http://bit.diamonds/how_transition_short.pdf

Thank alot for your clear explanation.

How do you get 4375 block per yer?

Not 4375. He meant 4.375 (four or five blocks in one year). To get block you need to have staking wallet (24/7 ideally).

LOL ok thank for clarification.  Yes i have DMDv3 wallet and diamond stated staking is active.

so for those who have like 200 coins..how often is the payout in the wallet over 1 year?

Theoretically you'll get reward every 6 days:
25% x 200 DMD = 50 DMD
50 DMD / 0.8224 DMD ≈ 60.8
365 days / 60.8 ≈ 6 days

Thank alot ...you guys really clear all my doubts

so i see there is still some missunderstandings here

first of all there is no annual % based interest

there is a annual % based coin inflation

which start at 25% and will constant decrease as u can see in the whitepaper

now who get a share from this inflation also called coin rollout

35% of each block found go to the finder
65% of each block found go to a masternode

now what that mean about ur potential POS or MN income a year

MN its easy u know how many other masternodes are there

u so basically ur income will by daily coinrollout *0.65 / by amount of masternoded

so if we have a coinrollout of 1500 and there are 100 masternodes then its

1500*0.65/100= 9.75 DMD a day per masternode

to see the actual daily coinrollout just check here the column generated at the end
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dmd/#!overview

if there more MN active u earn less if less MN active u earn more

now how is the same for POS

its much harder to estimate because we dont know how many coins and how structured in coin piles compete for the POS blocks

all we know is each block found 35% go to the finder

so each day 35% of coin rollout is going to POS "miner" i call it miner because in fact its much more like mining then minting
its a competition to find a block and ur coins act like "hashrate" to increase ur chanced find a block

still true is the more other  coins compete in POS the less often u will find a block in POS
the more own coins compete the more often u will find a block

the more coins are removed from POS competition because they act as a MN collateral or they are in offline or exchange wallets
the more the active POS users will earn

100 masternodes

just under 50% off all DMD are now locked up in nodes!

Come on people, only 10 shares (100 DMD each) left for the shared MN on dmdmn.miningfield.com/bshare.php, buy now!

I want my share to start staking  Grin

unfortunately all shares are taken, is there a new shared masternode comming? Any experience on the shared system, is it working?

1) How many coins best to keep for staking?? is there a minimum requirement for coins to start staking??
2) How long do I need to keep to coin in order to stake?
3) Is staking payout is in daily basic or is random?
4) How do I know that my coins already staking? if in staking form we cannot withdrew right?

1) at the moment, piles of about 200 coins should be the best for staking. No there is no minimum requirement for staking
2 and 3) example: u got 10 coins. one minted block is about 0.8 coins. interest is now 35% for solo staking and 65% for masternode per year. so your 10 coins give 3,5 coins per year. so you will find an average of 4,375 blocks per year. That means, if your wallet is 24/7 online and staking, u will find a block every 2-3 Month.
As this blockfinding is based on luck, it could be possible, that u will find 2 blocks in one month or zero blocks in a half year.
4) at the right bottom of ur wallet is a diamond symbol. is the color grey, u are not staking, is the color blue, ur staking. move the cursor over it, then it says staking or not. Staking coins could be transferred, theres no problem. but if u found a block, the coins get exhausted for 24hours. so u have to wait 24 hours to transfer them. thats all

Thank alot for your clear explanation.

IMO instead of 35% you should take 25% ATM and 5% from block 115200. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi,

I am new to DMD and I read and knew that DMD staking and cloud mining too.

So i got a few questions to ask and hope admin can help me:-

For Staking:-

1) How many coins best to keep for staking?? is there a minimum requirement for coins to start staking??
2) How long do I need to keep to coin in order to stake?
3) Is staking payout is in daily basic or is random?
4) How do I know that my coins already staking? if in staking form we cannot withdrew right?

For cloud mining:-

1) I have purchased some shares and have received my 1st payout today and so is the payout is in daily from or random?

Thank in advance
Vicki
For staking:
1. No minimum, but  small pile need a long time to find pos block. 200 - 400 is optimal for today.
2, 3. Pos in v3 is random. Probability depends on pile size and time your wallet open for minting (24/7 is the best). After finding pos block your coins need 24 hours before they start minting again.
4. If minting is active you'll see blue diamond in the right bottom of the wallet.

For cloudmining now it payouts ones in two days +-.

thanx i hope my pure english not problem

I do not understand your problem.
If you see an outbound transaction from Bittrex and it is visible in Blockexplorer https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dmd/
At the same time, her status is confirmed in your wallet it should also be visible.
If you say that you have an unconfirmed transaction and it matches the one you sent with Bittrex, let's deal.
Maybe you should join our channel #Sclack and provide a screenshot of your wallet.
We like to check it out and consider in detail your problem.

How can you check the progress?

How would you see the network traffic stats? What blocks your on?

Anyway to see information about your reward when it comes in? Some people say they get orphan blocks, where do you see this information?

How can you see how many coins your currently staking?

Thanks guys

You can see information about the blocks, transactions and network status on the site https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dmd/
Also this function is more succinctly available inside your wallet, section Blockchain explorer in the main menu -> Tools

Also you can see the activity of your Internet traffic in the form of a chart, section Network Monitor in the main menu -> Tools

Just carefully explore your wallet  Wink
