Ive just started trying out the little windows program on my laptop (which is the only Windows box I have). Won't get very much though, just want to see how mining on a BTC address pays in DMD. That part is a bit confusing. Ive been trying to use my GPU's to mine groestl/dmd, but can't seem to get a working CONF file. Been trying for over 2 weeks now, but still get 100% reject regardless of what params I tweak.
The https://multipool.bit.diamonds/ pool seems to suggest that if I mine to that BTC address I will get paid in DMD.
If that's the case, then I would probably like to throw my antminers at that BTC address and get paid in DMD also. Has anyone tried mining to that address using something other than that little windows program?

With those cards you can have a quite big rig for mining DMD. You can do solo mining also - and I think it's better than mining in a pool if you can build 2 rigs with your cards

The best GPU for mining is radeon 7990 (~30Mhs), you can search over the forums and see. I heard there are now some R9-295x2 cards better than 7990 but are too expensive for me.

It may run through them. Failure is unreachable, idle is not the priority. It looks like it switches between them frequently though so the pools might go in and out often?

That's my guess.

Price dip is great! Picking up quite a bit more myself

If you mined diamonds in solo POW mode, you could see that there are no problems with the mining (the wallet is absolutely normal function)..
So it is possible that your problem is due to the small capacity of your video card and pool settings.

After spending 2 weeks, I never could get a video card to work.
Been using "yam", which net's about 1 DMD per day.

There is Nicehash. They have also a server in Western of US, westhash, but is for SHA256, ASIC....
