An image I put together in photoshop that maybe we could use for the Dopecoin Occult Archives.  Need to clean it up a bit.  It was raining in the one image I lifted Fawkes from.

Now this I like. Thanks for putting this up and will use. Need some more updated stuff so yes great thank you!

Been thinking as I've been trying out this game for a little bit its pretty fun and works nicely: ( FYI: it is risky as its gambling )

CoinEz

I think its a perfect game to get DopeCoin added to it so I'm going to try to get on it  Grin

If you want to help tweet their twitter account so we can get DOPE listed on that site:

https://twitter.com/coinEZs

or there btctalkthread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=931737.new#new

Is that coin a support for black market? Sound shady

What ?

edit: we are listed on SilkRoadReloaded along with a few other alt-coins. I think you mean if we have our own marketplace just with DopeCoin.

Basically I stated that while I am really excited about DOPE being included in SSR with fees waived it doesn't satisfy our hopes for a decentralized market.   This is because SSR exists on I2P like the original SR existed on Tor, a hidden service on centralized server.   So, there is still a central point of failure, which is what we wanted to eliminate.  Also, SSR is in its infancy so while I hope it works out great for everyone it has not yet proven that it is secure, stable, and trustworthy.   I stated that it theoretically could disappear at any time leaving us back to square one or worse.

This is correct.  You are right it is just a hidden service this is true and there are still central points of failure. All good points above.

I went on to state that I would like to see Dopecoindude continue his search for a dev who could make us our own decentralized market based on a framework that Dopecoindude had shown me in IRC, or at least maybe get someone who could write us some software to build a framework for accepting DOPE on the Open Bazaar project.

Right, and my response was we will move forward with doing so. We can do both for this.

I cautioned against re-directing bounty funds for advertising and pointed out what a disaster squandering funding on advertising had been for Potcoin with their radio ads and bulletin boards etc.   I stated the only advertising we need is free:  Facebook, Twitter, BCT, etc.  I stated that we needed more tools instead to make DOPE more adoptable and that when "we're at the top of Trex with 200 BTC in volume because we're up 2800% in the last 24 hours, motherfuckers will take notice".

I agree more. This is where people get most in trouble is they over spend themselves with those sort of silly stuff. I guess I wasn't to clear in what I was purposing Tongue

We all basically agreed on these points and there was a lot high fiving and warm fuzzies.

There was many high fives and fuzzy bear hugs!

Dopecoindude also added a point that I forgot to include in my original post: the attention and expected increase in volume/price from SSR would make our bounty start to look very attractive to potential developers.   I believe he also mentioned that he has been talking to another dev who might be interested in developing the decentralized market with a different framework that he hasn't shown me yet.

Yes, this would be one good by-product of SRR. Is our bounty would start to rise in value thus making it look more attractive to building a decentralized marketplace to some dev and yes, talking to someone ( a few peoples actually ) about such a thing happening.

In a subsequent posts, Dopecoindude said he still felt that we could use a little advertising to increase awareness.  I stated that we should try to drive traffic to Dopecoin.com the old fashioned way, by delivering valuable content to surfers.  This way we would be targeting our key demographics:  crypto-geeks like us and the technologically less sophisticated that want to access dark markets but don't know how.   I made a few suggestions like:

1.  A step by step written guide on how to access the SRR for complete noobs.  (be the top result when you google "How to access SRR")
2.  A comprehensive guide on OpSec while using Dark Markets like SSR.
3.  If the multi-pool is going to support GPU mining, a complete and up to date guide on optimizing your rigs for the latest and most profitable algo of the month.

Yes, these are all things that I agree can happen ( should happen ) .  After our website update here shortly I'll focus in on these particular tasks.

haha that was the most important point Tongue

If there is step by step guide that get me into SRR, I would say it's very close to perfect n00b guide.

I think that if you can contact the one who runs BCT, he/she can find your posts..: https://twitter.com/bitcointalk/status/558273534393217024

This one is for how to sign-up for SRR: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nX-vGP6I83s

I think I more tailored guide along with our information on said guides is what 4thkind is thinking.
