Do you need to install software to run these?

I see they only bring in 0.6 eur a day (4mhs).. They cant be run on public computers when there needs to be software installed, right? Wink

And today they bring in 0.15 usd per day. That's 460 days to ROI....  Undecided

I just want to say thanks/danke to @jstefanop and friends from bitshopper.de  for being very helpful 'cause I had order-shipping issues since I live on Mars or close by. But these guys are just brilliant, even if I pre-ordered just a few sticks I had attention like I'm ordering few hunderds. Thank you for your first class customer support. Now I just have to wait for February and Ziggy Stardust to deliver...

Hi everyone, my package arrived from bitshopper.de today with 10 units!
Unfortunately recent events will force me to (reluctantly) sell these to anyone (Europe only) that wants to buy. Can anyone advise on the best options for a safe deal besides Ebay?
Thank you!

Can you confirm that USB extenders like the ones used for GPU risers would work?

It would be great to be able to use all the ports of a USB hub, maybe you can send an image of your setup with the USB extenders.

What about having an USB hub like this one https://www.amazon.com/ORICO-Aluminum-Charging-Adapter-Indicator/dp/B00NAMKDDY/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1512401765&sr=8-15&keywords=orico+usb+hub

And using usb cable extenders to fit all the keys?

Would it be a problem to use usb extenders?

The hub has enough power - the issue with USB extenders is that they're not powered, so its possible they can't pull the power needed. (It's like using an unpowered PCIe riser on a GPU rig.)

Most USB extenders are powered. I just use all the extra USB 3 cables I have from my USB GPU risers and they work great.

Just got mine today. Super cool little guy. Took forever to change it to my litecoin account. Couldn't get it to work with minergate which is probably a good thing. Steady at 3.4mh/s. I'm not computer smart so setting up that miner was a bugger haha. Looking forward to more if I can get them at the normal price. eBay is silly. I heard you are making something bigger also? Is this true? Also where is the best place to order from to ship to Asia?

Today I noticed the fan was super loud. It's really quite cold here so no idea why it would be hot. Maybe 16 to 17 degrees in the room. Snow outside. Any reason to be alarmed. I'd say the dB level doubled since yesterday to the point my coworkers told me to shut that noisy stick thingy off haha. I'll bring it home but the question remains.

it looks like that hub only has one port that has enough power and it does not say its bc 1.2 compatible..

This is kinda why I'm trying to get the depth measurement for this device tip of front fin to edge of rear heat-sink fan +/- estimated air space (maybe 1/2"). I know it won't properly fit any of my hubs, so I'm trying to find out the optimal spacing. If I don't find out by the time they arrive, I'll post the physical dimensions so we can better plan out our array spacing.

Actually I think we should design our own diy USB hub.   Not that hard.  I designed and built an 11 port fully isolated power supply for my pedal board.  Works like a charm.  I don't think you need isolated power in this case meaning the whole that ng would be pretty cheap too.  The biggest cost on mine was the Weber transformer, and that would not be needed.

Agree - great idea for a Kickstarter to have a "build it yourself" kit maybe, it would just use off the shelf parts so only needs to be a PCB etc

When will pre order batch 2 start? Or can I somewhere buy that Miner all are out of stock.

I will make an announcement for batch 2 before they go on sale. Probably sometime next week.

also for bitshopper? should have bought 3 more instead of just 2 but hey..
can an European customer buy from asicpuppy and receive the assembled moonlander 2?

Yes all of them...they will all have plenty of batch 2 stock, and most regions of the world are covered (NA, Europe, Asia, and Aus/NZ). You should be only be ordering from the region closest to you.

allright thanks, i will wait when bitshopper has them in stock Smiley
