The vulnerability in smart contracts has always existed, it all depends on the approach to the case. So I don't think that's a reason to panic.

I also heard about the bug exploit int he Ethereum smart contracts, so I think this will lead to maybe some coins choosing or migrating to other blockchains in the future but for now I am not worried. I heard a lot of positive noise about ACORN so I came this morning to check it out. I will try my best to grab some in the ICO if I got some spare dosh. I will join the telegram group to find out the latest info when I get back from food shopping later in the day. Whitepaper read is when for when I chillax in the evening.

I do not think that someone, in principle, is insured for 100% of break-ins. But to reduce the likelihood of these unpleasant is quite real. I am sure that now many projects, including Acorn, should think about this.

the thread of this project is very clear about the idea and some programs that are developed including promotional programs using bounty campaign with a very clear allocation of funds, hopefully with a total supply of coins that do not overdo will reach the target hardcap

26 MAY 2018 - main ICO. As far as I know, they wanted to start at the end of April, but decided to move the sales start because of the unrest in the market. I think this is the right decision, the team is constantly on the blockchain conferences, creating an interest in the project
