It is unlikely that the correction will be so protracted. But you are right, now is not the best time.

Can someoe explain something to me, bit of a dumb@$$ when it comes to this. How will the value of the investment be secured since payment will be in acorns? Say for instance I invest 100 Oak on something but 1 Oak is $10, what happens to the total investment if it drops to $2 the following week?

The project can be considered social - after all those projects that could not even count on help yesterday can already get it tomorrow. How do I determine correct GAS in MEW for contribution? It's defaulting to 100358. Is that correct?

I found Acorn Collective youtube channel! It seems good. There is intro of team members and a lot of info about project (one or two minutes vids). That is better then photo from web site ) intros very good idea IMHO
