I think that that statistic (80% of films are never seen by an audience) if right and this system will make only little change. They are unseen because they are not good enough. And the streamspace will be like an graveyard of that kind of films

It is sad, but I should agree with you. The indie music is pretty popular bc it doesn't take a lot of time to rate it. And you should spend 1.5h+ to appreciate the film

StreamSpace will give us an opportunity to create an idea of film as a community and make ICO of that film. I think that XXI century is about new age for art and this service will support it
