Speaking of unexpected things showing up on the withdrawals-overview: 3 withdrawals I performed right before the period where the Fidor API was broken and withdrawals/deposits weren't being processed are stuck on "Sent". The money arrived in my bank account just fine, so it's just the status on my account that's not up to date. Not sure if that might mess up Krakens internal accounting, but it could be something to look at.

Withdrawals I made after the Fidor API came back up did properly update to "Success".

Serpens and KarkenTrader: The anomalous withdrawals in the ledger are your own withdrawals. We had some bitcoin withdrawals from a while back that were stuck in "sent" status, and this was fixed earlier, so they've gone to "success" status. A withdrawal in "sent" status is withheld, so you can't use the funds, but it isn't yet reflected in your ledger. It's only with "success" status that the withdrawal is reflected in your ledger. I'll PM each of you a list of the relevant withdrawal IDs. Of course, if you still can't make sense of it, let me know.

It's obviously scary to see unknown withdrawals in your ledger, but in this case it's nothing to worry about.

Serpens and KrakenTrader - we've seen your posts and are investigating. KrakenTrader - please PM me your public account ID so we can look at your account. Or, if you've created a ticket, PM the ticket number.

Dargo, thank you for fast response. I pm'ed you.

FYI
I just did some test btc withdrawals, and can confirm they work fine.
I also requested an EURO withdrawal this morning and it arrived as usual after 6hours in my bank account.

HACK or BUG???

In my history are several bitcoin withdrawals from the last minutes which I did not made!   The bitcoins are not taken from my balance, but what is going on there?HuhHuh   I withdrew my bitcoins to my wallet now. I hope they will arrive there and are not lost !

edit:
I think it's just a bug... the balance of bitcoins showing in the history after every withdraw was not mine. I only had 5 bitcoins and after the first withdrawal the history shows a bitcoin balance of 20.

The same happened to me.

Since a few minutes, 3 different bitcoin withdrawals are displayed in History / Ledger, but I did not initiate them.
They are not taken from my balance.
They are not showing up in funding/withdrawals.

So I have the same amount of btc in my kraken balance as before.

Dargo what happened?

My withdrawal I made is in the blockchain and now after 40 minutes with 1 confirmation Smiley But it does not show in the history, but in the "funding" section.
If you want to take a look at my account, a made a ticket (22095).

Hi everyone,

This is just a short announcement that I work for Kraken.com and that I am going to assist Dargo with questions concerning open support tickets or other problems with Kraken support that you guys experience. Right now, I am mainly monitoring the German-language Kraken thread, but I am also going to check this thread on a regular basis.

Dargo is going to confirm that I work for Kraken.com shortly (hopefully that will convince you that I am not a fraud Wink).

Yunus

Vouch for this. Yunus works for Kraken part time. He's been helping out in our German thread and will also pitch in here.

Does this mean you are europe based(germany?) and can respond to our questions GMT +1? Smiley

Yes, I am based in Europe (GMT+1). I have only worked for Kraken.com for a few months and there are still questions
that are rather hard for me to answer, so for some questions, esp. questions concerning trading issues, you will still have to wait for Dargo.
I hope that makes sense!

Yunus
Awesome. I think a lot of people here will appreciate this! Just a quick reply that you guys are working on it when a certain big issue arises will sure help cool things down until the US is awake Wink

I like kraken but I would like the XBT/LTC pair to be inverted. I find it really strange that bitcoins are measured in litecoins and not the other way around like every other litecoin exchange. It feels more natural if you buy/sell litecoins for a certain amount of bitcoins since bitcoin is the "parent" currency. I don't think bitcoin market is affected by the litecoin value at all.
search this thread, it was already very well explained, by kraken stuff, why it was designed this way

See here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=290799.msg5113984;topicseen#msg5113984

We do it because very low prices can harm liquidity, so we generally avoid low priced pairs, choosing the inverted pair instead.

Note: since this question comes up so much I added the text "reason for inverted pairs on Kraken" to the post above to make it easier to search.

Ok thanks. I hope you add LTC/mXBT in the future then.

Ok...then I should cancel those positions I have for the other 200,000...
Hmmm, this makes difficult to calculate it if you want to sell all your coins in different lots.

Btw, my second deposit appeared and I have to thank the support received, once sent the info, it was credited in a few hours.

If you go to the "Intermediate" or "Advanced" order modes, there's an option called "P/L/Fee Currency" where you can change which currency the trade-fee is taken from.

Lets see if Dargo or someone can explain what happened...

I had 299,384.82 Doges, I sold 99,384.82 so I could keep exactly 200,000 and stablish 2 sell orders of 100,000 at different prices...
But once the 99,384.82 coins was done, my remaining Doges is 199,801.23 instead of 200,000...and I already have those sale orders for 200,000....

whats gonna happen once they get sold??
is the fee discounted on remaining coins?

Thanks!

The doges were taken for the trade fee, which is 0.2%

I have a problem, I deposited same amount twice and second time my deposit was put on hold. Please look at my kraken support ticket #21916.
that happens very often since a new protection from kraken was set up.
So next time, do not send the same amount twice until the first deposit is done. Just send instead of two time 1k€ : 1000€ and 1001€ or something like this.
To solve the issue it helps to send a screenshot from your bank transfers to the mailadress you get from kraken support.

It happend to me already twice, therefore I know what to do, to solve this fast Cheesy
