I went above the USD limit - thought i have it in EUR. While it is a huge amount of money please release it as soon as possible..
I'm already Tier 4 - increase my limit is already pending (Ticket: 816029)

Hi BitCharlie. Please use this form to escalate your ticket.

In a normal situation what would happen is you would need to wait until your daily deposit limit reset enough times for us to release the deposit. What I mean by that is if you deposit $20,000 and your daily limit is $10,000 you will need to wait 24 hours in order for the deposit to be released. If you deposit $30,000 we would have to wait until your daily limits reset twice which would be 48 hours.

I have passed your other ticket to the appropriate team in an attempt to avoid the 24 hour hold period.

The orders were retried to be placed as long as an Eservice unavailable answer were received. In case you dont get an Eservice unavaialble, you get either an order ID, or a type of undefined answers (assuming that your order input is correct, if not you can get other tyes of error messages). In the undefined case you dont know what happened to your order and you need to check your open order and/or trade history lists. In the undefined case the next order was placed, unknown orders were checked in one go at the end.

Getting to numbers to which you refer. For the list of 100 orders to be placed, a total of 182 calls had to be made due to having to retry to place orders when receiving a total of 82 Eservice failures.

This leaves 100 calls (please note the difference between calls and orders, even though their numbers are equal) which did not receive an Eservice failure. From these calls, 51 received an answer which included order ID and other info. This leaves 49 calls where the answers was undefined (as said some were later found in the order or trade list, but some were also not placed).

So in the end 51 of 182 calls yielded an order ID = 28% of calls giving a correct answer.

Counting only Eservice failures as errors the error percentage is 82/182 = 45%
Also counting calls of the undefined answer type as error increases the error percentage to 71.9%

I keep getting 809: Exchange API is unavailable like this is terrible. I have margins calls I can't close because of the fact the website is not working.

I hope for u that they are willing to take the responsibility for their part of the loses. To everyone else this is the last warning: Dont daytrade on kraken esp dont use any margin

The situation has barely improved from yesterday. The last measurement shows a total of 82 Eservice unavailable failures on the last 100 orders which where tried to be placed. Aka a total of 182 calls to place 100 orders.

The numbers of calls which got a correct API reply which included order ID (and other relevant info) was 51. Meaning that 49 orders where unknown after 182 calls for 100 orders. Some of these were found in the open order list, others were still not placed.

In other words 18% of the 100 calls worked out?

I see lots of frustrated messages today, which is understandable as we have been experiencing many failed orders today. It's very unpropitious and it's something we are looking to correct in the near future.

We have been saying for quite some time that there will be an update on our trading engine and we now have a general idea of when that will be. After many months of hard work the plan is to have it completed by the end of the year. This is not a promise but it is the goal.

It will be not like that, if you did your job. Again i send my id photo for my account to change my email adress of my account. I go Tier 2 and again no responses from your crew. I escalate my ticket some many times...

By then end of which year do you mean with this? Is it 2017, or another yet unknown year.

If you would have put has much effort in development of the trade engine as people are doing in order to cope with your miserable service, then there would not be this problem at all.

However, for the past months it was just a bunch of hollow promises of things being improved.

Calling your dev team "incompetent" is an insult to incompetent people.

These are issues we have been pointing out for the last few years. I'm guessing your current page & trading engine are not scalable. And you basically gave up on it since it's probably also why your support is swamped in support tickets (your Twitter bot isn't helping make this better either).

So in comes the new trading engine. A shinning savior that will turn everything it touches to gold. Let's call it Midas. Hooray!

serious talking: you should give your user a f*cking big warning-sign before they deposit fiat/crypto in your exchange, because your sorry and your words doesnt help anybody at all after it, its to dangerous to trade on your platform anymore and i mean this serious, people will lose a lot of money because the kraken-engine is not working fine.
if you are not able to run this nice and fluid, you should inform your users to withdrawal all the currencies and close the service till you fixed all the problems.
i will not recommend your exchange to other users from now.

edit: i can not imagine you ever used your own service for daytrading, you would be angry, disappointed and pissed off, believe me...

I lost ~700-800 EUR today because their system (not accepted orders, cannot set/cannot cancel order, not accessible site, random errors, and tons other errors i see for n-th time). Tired and i decide stop loss because kraken non working site and get my crypto back. There is other better working exchanges.

If i wouldn't know better, i would call it scam.

Have you got an actual withdraw sat waiting or site errors are not letting you put it through? all i can say is i continue to have very decent experience moving funds in and out of kraken.  I've not had a problem yet so dont know how that might go.  However maybe you should consider the volume of people they might be dealing with right now is huge.

The transfer failed because it was not accepted by the recipient.
Can I cancel the transfer and have my money on my Kraken account?

But...

I made a transaction from kraken to another exchange (this can not be done!).
I immediately informed Kraken with a ticket No. 781148 and did not answer me.
Now the transaction is successful but this is a mistake for anti-money laundering rules.
I need to figure out where the money is.
Kraken gave the payment order but has not yet happened?
the other exchange does not accept payments between exchange but this is also a general rule of kraken?
If the payment is blocked, the money returns to my kraken account?

it really is rediculous, I have been trying to get a simple buy order through for 2 days now... no luck.

the other day I had another series of errors, gave up and closed the site. came back a couple hours later to find that my order had misteriously been executed....

I am a little scard to trade there now, do I have to sit in front of the screen for 3 hours to be sure, in case I get an error again (very likely)Huh

You should be really scared. Cause this is very typical for Kraken, and the dev team either dos not care, or is not up to the task to solve this issue.

One advise regarding this phenomenon. It can easily take up 5 min for the system to accept/show your order. So, in 99% of the cases if your order does not show up after 5 min, you can place it again.
You could write a little loop to check the order book in regular intervals, to see whether your order was placed (hint, do the same for the trade history).

Alternatively, you could also ignore Kraken and move on to another trading platform. Most of them which we encountered work fine. Im not naming any here as this would the wrong place to promote them.

Kraken should have the honesty to close its service until they have finally solved these massive issues, or all customers should get a massive rebate/refund on trading fees if they keep on running.
