Mintcoin: Get some
Where can I download a bootstrap.dat file? I'm having trouble with sync. Is possible to just download it?
I don't think there is another way. Can someone create a torrent every month?

Mintcoin: Get some

I am ready to commit 100,000 MINT & 0.02 BTC if someone else can cover the rest. Anyone interested?

I'd feel more comfortable committing to this if I knew it was
a. virus free
b. actually working (get peer info is blank, and it's not syncing to network)

I had problem previously(before code cleanup) with false positive but am now running it without any problem & 12 connections to peers. I can attest that it works on Windows 7 & clean on Kaspersky Internet Security.
sambiohazard: I think he was specifically referring to the Mac wallet.

We just need a Mac wallet that will keep everyone on the same chain - Ideally, several days before August 1.

Hi Mint community,

I'm opening up a crypto accepting t-shirt store and of course MINT will be a payment selection. Where can I find the digital assets to MINT ? Or, if anyone is a good designer here I'd love to get your design on a shirt  Smiley

Hit me up with any questions!

Please note: We currently have Windows and Linux available - WE DO NOT HAVE A MAC COMPILE.

Our hard fork is on August 1st.

Is there anyone that can compile it for Mac? I thought someone was already working on it.

I'm working on it...but this is a fairly old coin with some VERY outdated code that just does not play nice with OS X.

I'm having to rewrite all of the OS X notification support code, and there is a 8 character macro definition that errors out being used all over the place.

As I'm not really a "dev" or part of the MintCoin team, and don't know of any bounty for a fresh mac compile, other projects are taking priority right now.
Not really, it sounds like a problem with your toolchain.

I've compiled the wallet with minimal codebase changes. I'll release it for 25USD worth of anything, BTC preferred.

I'm not sure I understand correctly, everything going on with it, but If you already have a successful build, shouldn't we just release that working version of it now, so we can just get as many people on board with the new wallet as possible prior to the fork? As long as it is actually working, we can work on cleaning up the code later right? I'm just thinking if it something that can be cleaned up more later. Right now we really should get this released. We need to give people time to update. Does all of this need to be done prior to the fork?

It does need to be released before the 1st for Mac users.

Your hunch was correct.... What does that mean?

Sorry I thought with all the links it was self explanatory. Removing the old irc code cleared up the virus warnings.

-press

Nice its cleared up Smiley I guess the resultant assembly/binary for the library could have changed due to using an up to date compiler.
