some of these removals don't add up, after the community takeover they kept MINT on for 6 months or so with  next to no volume and at 5 sats or below... MINT's volume has been decent lately and price has been steady, WTF ?? indeed, I know it's not huge volume but what do they expect? it's still active traders/users on their site. I don't get it.

HYP was getting between .4 - 5. btc a day in volume, not an active community but we're still trading

There's quite a few on that list that don't make sense. I don't get it.

I started a timer 6 months ago as a lark , when Poloniex changed their trading fees,
We are less than 30 days from it's predicted target date.

MINT is being delisted from POLO on 9/5.

Hmm,

That sucks, just saw it
On 9/5/2016, the following markets will be delisted: ABY, ADN, BITUSD, CNMT, DAO, DSH, FIBRE, FLT, GAP, GRS, HYP, IFC, LQD, MCN, MINT, MMC, MNTA, PIGGY, PTS, SILK, SWARM, WDC, XC, XCR, XPB, XUSD, YACC.

Trading Volume today is $ 3,946     Huh  Makes no Sense why they would drop Mint

Has anyone from Mint Team contact Bleutrade or Poloniex exchanges and find out why the exchanges started dropping mint.
$4 grand of trading volume in 24 hours, should be more than enough to warrant keeping Mint there, Weird stuff going on.

 Cool
There's quite a few on that list that don't make sense. I don't get it.

Myself and URSAY (MintyAllDay) have both put in tickets with Poloniex to try and get more details regarding their decision. Volume for MINT on Polo has been fairly good, with many days over 1 BTC in volume, and a whopping 50+ BTC in volume on July 3.

Nobody on the team has been made aware of any issues or concerns from either exchange

For those of you that Time is actually an issue.  Wink
You can use my Snapshot Service if you like, it ain't Mint Team Official Approved, but it Works (Kiklo Approved) and a SnapShot is the Fastest way to Sync.

Thanks for the advice!!

One more question, sorry -
How do you use a snapshot?

I may be able to figure it out.
To be honest tho, to go ahead and do something that isnt approved by the dev team without knowing exactly what it is that i'm doing feels a bit sketchy.

I'll probably be able to figure whats what with a bit of googling.

Thanks again Kiklo!

Instructions are included with the link posted above.

Hey all, just starting to sync my Mint Wallet again from bootstrap (computer crashed and lost 1,000,000 mint coins plus other coins).

My bootstrap sync has been taking 2 days so far and i'm half way through.. does this seem normal or is it going slow.

Seems slow for a bootstrap to me but maybe this is to be expected?

Bootstrap.dat files takes days to import, and that is if it is current.
No idea when the Mint Team last updated their official bootstrap.dat.
OP says "Official bootstrap updated 4/5/16 to include all blocks up to 3/31/2016 23:59:00"

For those of you that Time is actually an issue.  Wink

Does anyone know of a Mintcoin block explorer or website that has the actual current total coin supply count?

https://coinmarketcap.com/ says the available supply is 23,077,840,377 MINT

http://explorer.coinpayments.net/index.php?chain=16 says the supply is 23,454,298,728 MINT

The difference between these two supply counts is 376,458,351 MINT which is currently worth about $22,000 USD. But the coinpayments explorer's last block date says 7/31/2016 so that is not up to date either, so anyone know where we can get the actual total supply?

Website is down or being attacked... wondering anyway to download the wallet and blockchain.. looking to start staking this coin hope the site and coin stay alive seams like this can be a good coin..

Yeah mintcoinofficial has been getting attacked for some reason. Not sure why anyone would go to the trouble.

Have you tried http://mintymintcoin.com/ yet? It's basically got the same info.

It is a good coin. MINT has been around for over 2 years, and has a committed user-base and development. It is a great coin for staking (but we call it minting around here). Let us know if you have any questions. FYI, it takes 20 days for coins to mature on each address to begin minting.

Good morning!
I am still hosting Mintcoin Official and do not mind supporting the funds to do so; however we need an admin to manage the website. Currently it is being attacked by hackers pushing through non-sense comments within the forum - does anyone want to take this admin task on hand?

Also if someone would prefer to host on their server please let me know and I can push the domain over to you.

Thanks!
Jessie

Please email me at [email protected] and we can work thru the details for the domain transfer.  Thanks cryptomommy.  Smiley
