We are happy to be part of WINGS platform. A lot of comments going on from the community and I'll use the chance to quote one of our team answering them
There are 3 main questions about the OS.University project from the WINGS community:
1. What are we forecasting? The pre-sale ends in less than 5 days, so things are pretty clear there for us, we want to forecast the main tokensale (when we will have the platform already). It is planned to start on 4th of June and 30,000,000 EDU tokens are allocated for sale. We did see a lot of comments like “great project, weak ICO environment” and so on, but we did analyse the market and it should get better and better in the next 40 days, signs of recovery are already observable in the crypto world and the ICO timing is discussed with top crypto advisors.
2. How much did you already raise?Regarding the other question about how much we have already raised, we did provide a mid-term update which is available in the pitch deck. I want to clarify that most of the investments are from our partners and private investors who know and trust us. Those funds are used to bring the product to market, onboard users and advertising. Even though the smart contract closes the public contributions round automatically on 30th of April, we will most probably still have ongoing negotiations with crypto funds and larger backers. After we close the last initiated deal, in a very transparent manner we will provide a detailed public update on how the pre-sale went.
3. Where is the smart contract with the reward (3% of the sold tokens) for the WINGS community? We did use the WINGS contract creator, which did not provide an option to send tokens to a specific address where the tokens will be locked. We do want to get a broader distribution of the EDU token, so that 3% is going to you guys. Currently the tech team is working on a solution for this, if needed we will contact someone from WINGS. Update on this point will follow shortly.
Side note. The contradictory part about all the crypto world where blockchain should have provided a trustless environment gave ground to one of the largest scammer schemes ever. This has potentially killed many good projects, and I am grateful that we have the support of our local community to bring the OS.University platform to life.
Best,
Teddy
