Playkey's tokens worth $1 million are purchased by the Uncharted Capital thematic fund. The fund focuses on investments in promising startups based on blockchain technology. A full-scale sales of Playkey's tokens will not begin until 1 November 2017, but the pre-sale campaign allows early bird investors to endow the new project on special terms.
"In Playkey we are seeing developing technologies, a huge market size, a well functioning product and team's assessment, also, an effective implementation of the blockchain technology within the product. All this will enable Playkey to become a sure leader in the game industry. What's more, it will fundamentally change the way people play games," Leonid Markin, the managing partner of Uncharted Capital, said, commenting on the deal.
"Within the pre-sale campaign there's an opportunity to enter the project on special terms, and we couldn't miss it."
