Hm to be honest, I'm quite amazed how good SIGT is doing despite

- withdrawals from cryptopia are allowed now
- cryptopia delisting
- the network congestion attack
- lies about a fork

Just alone from the fact that SIGT was delisted and cryptopia is finally releasing the coins, I was expecting a much much higher drop in value.
Will continue to hold my SIGT and wait for PoS.

Core nodes?
Blocking TXs?

So we have centrally controlled network?

So, they shut down most of nodes and made more mess than there was before, so rest could not synchronize?

Network should synchonize itself. Always.

You've made my day.

Don't bitcoin nodes reject repeated invalid Tx's automatically and ban the IP for 24 hours ?
A node or wallet that repeatedly sends a tx with an invalid transaction signature (for whatever reason) wouldn't it be near impossible to differentiate between that and ddos.
With sync issues, network delay, orphans etc  wouldn't be an equally valid explanation for lots of small Txs.

we should all just ignore this retard marcus
we can ignore everything,but problems,bugs,must be fixed,agree?

picking coin,i ignore ninjalaunch, fair(visible) premine,i ignore that lighning speed 1st blocks mining (same ninjalanch)

but i do not ignore when there is only LINUX wallet, why other users cant use coin?(its not about sign) network downs, slow transaction and etc. in technical side of coin. If you want to be something BIG you must make it work very WELL.

Well said. Perhaps the issues from the last few days were just what SIGT needed to get better and maybe the devs will take actions and improve.

Looks like the Signatum wallet is working again. Looks like all the angry toddlers that threw their toys out of their cot can start gathering their toys again.

Nova wallet is maintenance now..

It looks like cryptopia is getting around to the smaller addresses now. They just started transferring SIGT out of my deposit address.

ohh boy this is really sad, sigt is at highest point it will ever get again Shocked Roll Eyes

The fuders and trolls are of abundance in this thread.

Yup, they are working double time. If you were in SIGT discord earlier, they were coordinated in spreading lies of fork. There was no fork. It was an attack on the SIGT blockchain that Doc quickly fought off.  Unfortunately for them, SIGT priced didn't fall. When Doc was about finish in fighting off the attack, we immediately saw someone bought a bunch of SIGTs.  These fudders are smelling opportunity by fudding SIGT.

I see paper will take anything. Internet forums too :-)

Attack on the blockchain?
Doc defending the poor from bad Cryptopia.
Big FUDders on 5BTC volume crapcoin.

You live in a dream world or too many conspiracy books? :-)

stfu craptopia fanboy...there was no fork...your craptopia friends have been ddosing sigt network. devs fixed it..network is back to 100%..all wallets syncing

Tell me how exactly, my young padavan?
Do you even know how p2p coin network work at all?

Was unable to sync, had to delete all except wallet.dat, resynced and now the desktop wallet is synced and working again.

And it's a pool that handles ~ 1% of the total SIGT hashrate. Show me another pool that has that many orphans. You can't because there isn't one.

Actually if you look back in the posts i pointed out another pool earlier with the same problem. But it looks like it is limited to the
smaller mining pools. Since then I looked at the three largest ones and they don't appear to suffer from orphans.

Can someone explain me something

How did we get from rage on Cryptopia to the point where we talk about SIGT fork?

This is a combination of:

Off-loading blames + Conspiracy + Self interest + Business + Signatum haters

The largest Signatum pool Suprnova has been flawless all the time. How could they handle it if there was a fork or something wrong with the wallet?

It is really simple.

You have small number of legit nodes with good blockchain.
You have desynched pools and miners connected to them wasting mining power.
Summary: you have lots of orphans.

Just wait until most network nodes synchronize and point your rigs to something usefull meanwhile.
