Can someone explain me something

How did we get from rage on Cryptopia to the point where we talk about SIGT fork?
I have a theory :

And it's a pool that handles ~ 1% of the total SIGT hashrate. Show me another pool that has that many orphans. You can't because there isn't one.

Besides, my understanding (which may be wrong) is that forks occur when pools are running different versions of the software & with different ledgers. Since these are orphaned blocks,  can there really be a fork?

FUD plus Cryptopia and SIGT fans can't play nice with each other.

This is the link you just posted. That is 5 hours of mining orphans.

No fork.
There are so many orphans blocks due pool's nodes were behind (slow network due attack).
So it's normal situation. There will be orphans when other synced pools outrun you.
Everyone is aware of that who knows how blockchain works.

Orphans blocks were due to network congestion, that's all. No fork

There was a coordinated fudding in the SIGT discord channel today. They timed it during the mad rush to withdraw from Cryptopia and the attack on the master nodes. Good thing Doc fixed everything immediately when the attack occurred.

The dedication of these fudders to discredit SIGT and the attack that occurred makes me think they smell gold at the end of POW.Only 10 days left unitl pure POS.

Many thanks to Doc and the dev team that kept the network humming. They worked behind the scenes so we can all get our stuck SIGTs in Cryptopia. Thanks also to the techs of Cryptopia for working hard so we can withdraw our SIGTs. This is a good day to be thankful.  Smiley

Now, lets see what happens when POS arrives. Smiley

Nice to see some positivity today with the pages of haters and FUDders. Thank you.

Ok, so now my wallet is synced... I got my coins out of Craptopia.

Now we have a much better exchange running... so what's the problem then? none, at all I guess.

I didn't like the interface at Craptopia anyway... It's possible that Topia got jealous that Sigt got added at a better exchange which made them look bad for not being able to fix probably some simple problems. Maybe this is a revenge of some sort, they don't want to lose face... Pretty sad really on their part if this is true Smiley

its exactly this.  they aren't good at their jobs, and they're making tons of money at craptopia.  They're playing politics instead of fixing problems or evolving.  It is petty and sad, and oh so transparent.

The core problem at cryptioa is that they want ALL the coins with zero efforts and responsibility.
They created a dysfunctional and bloated trading architecture that seems to use the blockchain directly to handle all trading operations (that is stupid beyond imagination).
Now that they have to realize their tech is crapos they blame everything else in a polite way ! HAHAHA.
