For those, who waiting for answer from iGotSpots about total planned population of spots:
there will be 440 millions spots after (minimum) 20+ years of mining (~21.6mln spots per year, but as we see with old difficulty spikes there are much less coins/day mining rate, so i written 20+ years - with old diff spikes there can be ~6-9 mln per year and ~50-75 years to mine them all).
PS: i found all i need to calculate this in sources. Yes, now i'm reading/checking sources.

Always to the fullest always to the max!
Don't you think think this logo is slightly better, there's more breathing room in between the 2 arrows and they are a more agreeable shape.  Plus you can almost see and 'S' in between the arrows.  Of course it would mean changing once of them to silver.
It's a free vector image from google.

I personally like the old loge compared to the new one.......

But the gold arrows with the invisible s in the center is not too bad either..... better than the newest design  Cry Thumbs up for finding it it looks so much cleaner!!!!!!!!!!!

Spots HARD FORK AT BLOCK 81,000

Update Before Friday, January 17th, 2014

Windows: http://igotspots.com/spots/Spots_Windows_QT_V1.1.rar

Source: http://igotspots.com/spots/spots-master.rar

I'll get it up on github in the morning

Change Log (1/15/2014)

HARD FORK - Block 81,000

General
- New Logo
- New Icons
- No more error alerts
- Syncing has been sped up
- Litecoin cross chatter permanently removed

Difficulty
- Difficulty will now adjust at same spacing, but will move only 50% of the pre-fork adjustment

Other
- Symbol changed to SPOT
- Network settings tweaked
- Finding peers is much faster
- Optimized IPv4/IPv6/loopback protocol handling
- SUPERBLOCKS REMOVED - There was only a 0.01% chance of a block being a 205x super block. There were not many found in the entire 5 months so we are eliminating these completely
- Reward changed from 49 to 48 to compensate for the already found superblocks, but keep the coin life as planned

Hi,
I've been mining spots in one of the pools these last few weeks.  I want to buy (exchange some btc) some now, any idea when that might be possible again?
Also, my wallet always flags up 'out of sync' though it isn't,  will 1.0.4 fix that and does this mean i'll have to download a whole new wallet?
Thanks

You can exchange them anytime. They were never removed. From OP, so you have the direct links:

EXCHANGING SPOTS

Yes, you will have to download a new wallet, but it will sync to the same chain, so it will be as simple as just opening the new client

Looks like the "weak hands' or 'loss cutters' have won out. Hopefully I can make back someof the losses on one of the million new active coins.

Looks like the "weak hands" again was right..
There is no really good news for now. Only words and picture. Most of peoples are tired of waiting and they are running out of patience.
Oh, yes, you added spots ticker at workforkrypto site. You didn't changed even header. And there are very few visitors.
And buying real gold/silver for coins it's very good, but not enough. Few of few needs that.

There must be something outstanding and eye-catching about spots.

PS: one group kicked ass another group 3 days ago.. this another group now tries to dump price for rebuying and lowering avg price.
PPS: there are very few buyers remaining, nobody wants to spend btc's now for that.. All others (most of this topic visitios) just waiting for something and doing nothing to rebirth coin.
PPPS: no wallet for now..

It's a good thing you have access to our databases and sales records to show our sales numbers for such a bold statement you seem to know so much about

Dude, where is 1.0.4?

Forget the ego shots from Desten, he has a major point. Remember the big client update from last weekend?

Let's focus and respond to that.

Coming very soon

I haven't access to your databases, you know it.
If lot of people needs real metal so why they didn't buying spots? Price must be at sky already.. And if 10% off at gold/silver prices - then price must be twice or triple higher than sky.
I wish higher price, of course. But if too much peoples want a pump then there will be dump and vice versa.

ckoeber absolutely correct. Client. Most important part for now.

Do you really think I would be expanding the gold and silver inventory if it wasn't successful?
