I'm trying to figure out how Storj will work.  It won't use the BTC blockchain at all?

coinmarketcap shows 41,469,270 SJCX and there are 350,000,000 more to be emitted?

Storjcoin X (SJCX) is a Counterparty asset. XCP itself uses the BTC blockchain and an SJCX address is also a BTC address as is the address of any XCP asset too.

41,469,270 SJCX are the coins currently in circulation. There are 500,000,000 SJCX and they have all been generated and the asset locked. Means that no more can be created. The remaining 350 million are idle at the moment until it is decided what to do with them.

75,000,000 SJCX are reserved for our Developer Fund
75,000,000 SJCX are reserved for our Community Fund

Part of the rest will be earned by Early Access Farmers who contributed to our crowdsale, and part reserved for future crowdsales and projects.

where can i get SJCX wallet ?

You can either open a wallet on https://counterwallet.co or setup an account on one of the exchanges that accept SJCX.

The most popular one seems to be Poloniex for the moment.

Here is a list of available exchanges for our Storjcoin X (SJCX):

The main strange point is that storage etc is decentralized, but coins are centralized Smiley Thats why it s unclear how the mining will be performed, and what is the point to do it. Devs will decide how much coins you get or some third party (system, algo, etc)? And if it is even system, why "miner" should trust it Huh

Yep i also dont get this part also i prefer if coins have forums here - here its 3rd party forum where are old known users who give opinions etc

"We love Bitcoin; we only created Storjcoin X because we had to. "

Hey everybody!
So BitcoinTalk is not the best place for updates on the project seeing as how many of us are not active on here. To get almost daily updates on the project, visit our forums (http://storjtalk.org), follow us on Twitter (http://twitter.com/storjproject), and subscribe to the newsletter.

There is one moment for this project as i can see. Of course i can be wrong))) The main strange point is that storage etc is decentralized, but coins are centralized Smiley Thats why it s unclear how the mining will be performed, and what is the point to do it.
