It is time to buy TEA coin. Now you can buy for only 10-20 sat but this month price will be minimum 100 sat i think 1000-2000 sat it is minimum price for Tea coin.

What makes you say about an old coin with no active developers?

The source does need some updating. If I can get some time, I may add some checkpoints, fix the initial seed nodes and see what else I can do.

Nice to see the activity on the exchange.  I don't check often enough but it looks good over the last week or so.

well i needed a new teacoin wallet so using the github back on page 48 using this link https://github.com/Hobbyistpool/teacoin i compiled a windows wallet which if anyone else needs it can be downloaded from here http://www.mediafire.com/file/ou4amao0jl8981o/teacoin-qt.zip i may also try and do a mac wallet sometime soon

Good job!  It installed just fine for me.  Sync is slow, but that's to be expected with only a couple of connections.  Thanks!

Actually, an issue did pop up.  After exiting, it stays running in the background as BT-Core.  Otherwise, it runs nicely.

This one would be a good one to pump as most of the supply is lost with the closure of the exchanges.

I bet it holds up in value for a while.

I'm surprised that the coin suddenly sprang back to life. It's about time that someone starts a tea party. I'm sure that the community would be coming in.

Anyone thinking of taking this over?

Haha someone should go into it but it's probably just cuz of rising bitcoin price people are speculating and pumping altcoins.

Nice to see some buys at 3 sat.   This could easily rise quickly not much in the way to 10 sat and beyond.

If I had to guess I have around 1 million sitting on a wallet somewhere.  I think I might have bought them from trade crypto.  Hopefully I will find it.  I did mine some in the past but like you guys its was just 1 TEA per block so I don't think it was many.

The supply on the exchange is low.  The price could head up north soon.

I assume that most TEA was lost when the other exchanges de-listed and who knows how many users just deleted their wallets.

TEA has been at TS for some time now and there is not alot there.

Has anyone ever calculated the current coin supply?

I count about 4.4 million TEA for sale over the various markets on TradeSatoshi.

With 5.4 million blocks that's a minimum of 5.4 million TEA, and probably a lot more since earlier rewards were far more than 1 TEA.

Could we say there's perhaps 10 or 15 million TEA floating around? So 4.4 million on an exchange is still a fair sized chunk of the supply, especially since much of the supply is probably lost or mothballed.

Would be interesting if anyone knows the actual supply.

I came close to losing around 1 million TEA when crypto-trade.net was shutting down and the withdraw stalled, but I did end up getting my funds. All of that was mined at 1 TEA per block so it was basically a year's worth of mining reward for the entire network. Would have been painful to replenish that loss.

Teacoin will be a 4 year old later this month.   Genesis was on the 26th Jan 2014 20:33:57.

Nice to see the activity over on TradeSatashi.  Not much attention, but attention no less.

I noticed some big buy orders (and corresponding dumps) on the BTC market earlier. The other markets are also seeing a bit of activity.

Tradesatoshi has been doing some strange stuff recently, like losing 2FA settings (on their end)... it's happened twice now. Just be aware.

Difficulty is floating around 250 right now, so with only 0.3GH/s of hash power I'm not winning much TEA.  Grin

I'm still fighting with the client trying to import some keys from a wallet that went non-responsive and no longer works. I think I've recovered pretty much everything, but I can't be sure there's not a nice stash still sitting there. Pain in the butt when you attempt to import a file with only a few private keys into a virgin wallet, and the client just abruptly dies. Sad

It's good to see some action.  I was considering buying up all the 1's a few weeks ago Cheesy  I guess I missed out
