the new version 0.10 seems to work well with 5800/6800/580, but the video cards began to fall off periodically, I think due to the fact that the consumption has changed and the fine-tuning of the power consumption has become ineffective and you need to slightly change the voltage upwards

I tested all versions and the stable 0.10 produces some rejected shares on a couple of 6700 XT cards by Sapphire that have an higher factory clock compared to others but outside of that very small issue it's a very solid release to start the new branch. Still looking for a way to improve RX 6600 XT power compsumpion but seems like a OS overclock issue because under 900 Mhz core settings are not accepted (1400 is applied as fail safe, at least in Hive)

I downvolted basically all cores in my case and saved a few watts, runs very stable but you need AMD drivers 21.50.2 or 22.10.2 (faster) to improve stability and performance, if you upgrade the drivers you'll have more stability and shares.

when will R mode ready for Windows?

Is there a resource for R mode?  I'd like to see if I can squeeze out any more hashrate or reduce my wattage.   I have Radeon VIIs, 6800s, 6700xt 6600xt.

Of course there is. There is literally an ethash_tuning_guide_rmode file inside the teamredminer folder.

Is it possible to define Power Limit from command line when using TRM?

I'm running TRM 0.9.4.7 in Windows 10.
Trying to find optimal settings for Gigabyte Vega 56, with Hynix.

Many miners allow power limit setting from command line. Is it possible in TRM?
For Vega 56 use Team Red Miner v0.10.0
README highlights:
GPU: R-mode introduced. See separate documentation. Applicable for Vegas/VIIs/Navi10/Big Navi.
GPU: Smooth power transitions for ethash family algos.

teamredminer v0.9.4.7

"We've chosen to release v0.9.4.7 and the previous v0.9.4.6 as public betas to gather more user feedback without triggering automatic updates in mining distros. With the v0.9.4.7 release, we believe we've solved the issue with some Navi gpus simply not responding well to R-mode, rather dropping to e.g. 48-50 MH/s instead of expected 55-56 MH/s for a 5700/5700XT. We're expecting to push this version in a proper public release shortly unless we hear about any additional issues. If you don't use the new R-mode, or you're a Windows miner, you still have an upside running this new version for the "smooth power" rewrite described below."

Hello, I'm testing this miner, pretty interested in very good 5700 XT support.
I have a problem with CM api, I'm configuring it like this:

--cm_api_listen=0.0.0.0:1501

But as soon as I try to connect to the API I get this error:

CM API failed to parse rpc: GET / HTTP/1.1

Any hint?
Thanks

EDIT: it seems there is a problem with the latest 0.9.4.7, tried 0.9.4.2 and it is working fine
EDIT #2: tried again 0.9.4.7 and CM API is now working fine, I guess I made something wrong in the beginning

Is there an option to lower mining intensity of a gpu if it reaches a certain temperature?
I remember that claymore had the -ttli option and if you set it to -ttli 75 if that card reaches 75 degrees it starts mining slower.

R Mode memory allocation question on Instinct MI25 and MI60. Is the memory allocation acting as expected, leaving ~10 / 26GiB free on the MI25s and MI60?

I'm testing the latest beta in HiveOS, I enable R-mode but I get this error:

Team Red Miner version 0.9.4.6
[2022-05-09 12:13:36] Pool eu1.ethermine.org: Ethermine ethash auto mode detected, setting --eth_stratum_mode=ethproxy
Failed to execute command './ubuntu_mode_script.sh', errno 2 (No such file or directory)
[2022-05-09 12:13:36] Linux kernel vm mode script failed, see output.
[2022-05-09 12:13:36] Failed executing linux kernel vm mode script, check output.

teamredminer exited (exitcode=0), waiting to cooldown a bit

I also tried executing manually "echo -e "amdgpu.vm_block_size=11\namdgpu.vm_size=2048" > /hive/etc/grub.custom && selfupgrade -g && sreboot" but still the same error, not sure how to fix it

very impressed with this miner
i manage a LOT of polaris - see the dastardlyman youtube channel recent video.

first the eth plus ton has ran great - some cards you turn intensity down a bit but its all good.
the second bit is we have a lot of old cards that are lets face it shagged. worn out.
they wont run stable on phoenix. but used with trm in pure eth mode or eth plus zero ton
they are stable and mine just fine.

for instance ive got a shagged 5600xt here at home
it wont run stable at any speed on phoenix.
but its doing stable 37 m hash on trm
if i slide the memclock up beyond 1750 trm doesnt crash but it goes weird
basically stops mining but then when i slide the mem back to 1750
it mines away like a trooper and forgets that i oversped the ram too much
ive never seen software do that - amazing - not crash!

i like the trm honest hashrate counter
best wishes from manchester uk

Hello, can someone tell me where I can change intesity in teamred miner(I am using the latest verison). I have rx 6900xt, mining ETH+TON in Windows, but when I am mining my system works very slow, what can do with it? If I use nbminer for ETH mining I have 0 problems even playing some simple games!

TON is very GPU intensive, so i think this is normal. And no Teamredminer has no intensity paramater, you can play with --eth_config (more information in teamredminer folder or github) - but for sure the pool hashrate is much higher than nbminer. nbminer inflated the hashrate up to 5%.
Thanks for an answer! Will check the config!

AND NOW I SEE THE PROBLEM. DUAL MINING ETC+ZIL is only possible if you generate a new DAG every time on windows pc´s. ETC+ZIL DAG is now lightly over 4GB in windows for sure - linux have a little bit more time. Lolminer cannot caching the Zil DAG on ETC (reported to lolliedieb so often, but he don´t care about it)
You must delete the command:  --eth_dag_cache=0

Thank you for reply!
Yes, I'am using tripple mining Cheesy ETC+ZIL+TON (ezil.me)
There is no --eth_dag_cache=0 key present, but I've also tried to add it, and no result Sad Now trying to play with --eth_4g_max_alloc, but still no result.

Try ETC+TON only first or only ETC.
